Perfict Corrosion Protection Anode
Use this anode and a down stream coolant filter to protect your system, I am using this on a 7.3L IH in a 1995 F-250. This will protect your copper radiator and other components! worth every penny!

Loose bonding
The anode is not bonded to the brass plug. Perhaps they tried to press it in and expand the anode but it is loose and wobbles. Without a proper electrical connection the anode will not do its job. After receiving a quality anode from a marine supplier I realize that this anode probably wasn't even zinc. I suspect the seller made a mold, melted aluminum cans and poured it into a brass pipe plug. That's what it looks like to me anyway.
