Beautiful Patterns
I’ve been knitting for a long time and it’s very easy to let some other creative talent dream up the beautiful designs for everything from fingerless mitts to sweaters. Kerry Bogert, the designer and editor who compiled the patterns in this book, found the designs that set the right tone for knitting your project in a coffee shop that you will want to wear to that same coffee joint when the project done. Kerry Bogert, who has recently the reigns of Interweave Knits, shows off her Bona Fides in this wonderful book. It’s got patterns for anyone who wants to make something lovely, large or small. I highly recommend this book! You will use it well for years to come!

Great book with well written directions and pictures !
Great book ! The projects are beautiful , well written and the greatest selling point of this book is all the projects are knitted with ordinary yarn. More or less the suggested yarn is not far out type that would be hard to find but yarn you could find at any knitting shop. I'm glad I bought this book !!

Knitting book
I first picked up this book at the library. I fell in love with most of the patterns in this book and I had to have it. I'm making the latte swirl sweater and the dirty Chai Pullover at the moment and I finished the chai latte cowl. Both sweaters I'm making are top down construction. I'm using knit picks brava yarn for both in the recommended yarn weights. There's two mistakes in the book that I've found one is in the latte swirl sweater the cable is missing in the key and the extra whip socks I found the errata for that pattern. I still recommend the book. If it wasn't for those mistakes it would be 5 stars. The pattern on the cover that looks like fingerless mitts is really the sleeves of the gingersnap pullover..

Great patterns. Questionable yarn quantities
The patterns are great and I’ve enjoyed making several. But I’ve found that some seriously underestimate the amount of yarn required. I didn’t notice this on my first few since I always buy extra. But I bought the recommended amount for the Gingersnap Pullover and I’m short by 3 skeins. (My gauge is correct). So now I have an unfinished sweater and I’m waiting for Quince and Co to have the color I need back in stock.
