well made and easy to use
Jacks are well made and easy to install, the pre-soldered and heat-shrinked wires are a major plus, too. Sure, it's a bit bigger than using those surface-mount boards modules, but sometimes ease of use outweighs size. I've used these connectors in most of my powered projects I've 3d printed, and haven't had an issue using them. Recommended

Did the job better than OEM part
Lsgoodcare 5.5 x 2.1 MM 5A DC Power Jack Socket: I replaced male and female DC power socket on a newly purchased and quickly damaged product. This product has a sturdy metal case and is much more robust than the socket it replaced. I like the leads on the female socket. That allowed a less "intricate" solder connection for a novice DIYer like myself. I only needed one, but now I have spares. So, I spent around $10 to repair a several hundred dollar new product with much less hassle and headache than dealing with product warranty/return or service call. Now that's a good deal!

Male plug break easy
Work great for an audio line and 12v power line plastic tip on male broke twice trying to unplug it from female plug

Worked well for me.
The terminals are a little on the thin side but I had no problem soldering up a couple if these. I didn't have the problems other people had with the threading on the connectors but I could see this part being a problem if it was a heavy use application. Overall I'm satisfied.

Repeat customer
I use these quite a bit in my builds. 5.5 x 2.1mm is "standard" for most applications. 5 amps is "just enough" but they need to have thicker wires and use adhesive heat shrink on the solder points. Ended up having to put my own heat shrink on them for protection. Wires need to be 14 or 16 AWG vs 18 AWG.

Much easier to work with
Soooooo much easier with the attached wires; half the labor. If the female ends had wires too then it would be even better.
