WHITE DRYER DUCT TO WALL CONNECTOR QUICK CONNECT FOR DRYER VENT 6" FOR 4" TUBES… (1 Pack)

The wall side piece did not fit into the wall vent but was easy to modify so it would. Instead of using the three screw holes I attached it from the side using sheet metal screws as the wall vent sticks out about a half inch. Once that was done I attached the other side to the flex pipe and did a load of laundry this morning. This will make it much easier to clean out the vent, as previously I had to move the dryer and take the screws out to remove the pipe. I clean out the dryer vent every three to four months just to prevent lint buildup, so just unhooking it will speed up the process.

This was VERY easy to attach to the duct and place in wall. The hole in the wall does not have to be perfect because the trim will cover it. The whole thing is well made and seals very well. It will fit a variety of ducts, but being removable it is best with flexible ducts that are lined with metal for high heat.

Took a while to arrive. Easy to install. Ok value for convenience. Worked as expected.

One part mounts to the wall around the duct orifice leading to the outside. I used caulk to seal it in place and reinforced it with 3 small screws (not supplied) to the wall. The other part fits into the vent from the dryer with a 4" ring clamp that I already had. Perfect solution for me. The big orange home store sells a similar product at a slightly higher price, but this worked better for me.

I have a 27" dryer that fits in a 27.5" U shaped cubby. The original installers just stuck the vent through a hole in the sheetrock, but of course it just wiggles loose. I looked far and wide here, and this was the only thing I could find that had a narrow protrusion - around 1/4". I installed the one piece inside the dryer, and that went pretty well. The pipe itself acts as a stabilizers the pipe isn't going to fall out (and I used a good high-temp seal tape).The end going outside the dryer was a bit harder. The plastic is very smooth, and when I tested it with just tape, after the tap warmed, the exhale pipe popped out of the plastic holder. I added a single short screw (not good for dryer vent pipes, screws hold lint)m then taped over it. That held the pipe to the white half-fitting, but then the fitting just rotated out of the three slots. To fix that I ended up using the one screw to hold a bungee cord, and wrapping it around the pipe and screwing the other end under tension to the wall seems to have solved the rotating out of the fitting part - time will tell.So in summary:- the design is a good first start - thin extrusion of 1/4"- that said, the three "hooks" could easily get broken removing or installing the unit - a ring around them would have been a really nice addition- there is no detent, or other means to hold the outside part to the inside, so it will easily rotate out- the outside should be roughened to better hold tapeif you have a tight space, this is obviously a good choice, but be prepared to spend time to engineer the complete solution.

Product is easy to install. Bought this as part of a renovation in the laundry room. Magnets would have been nice but couldn’t wait for them.All you need is a 4” hole saw and it will slip right in. The part attached to the wall is held in with 3 screws. You can seal it if you want.Small turn and the vent will disconnect. Easy.The only complaint is that they only provide 2 clasps to secure the vent to the unit. Which should have been expected but whatever. Could have used 4 since there are now 4 vent connection pointsSo far everything is working perfectly without any clogs after a couple days.

I used for my dryer in travel trailer, when traveling I have to move dryer to a secure location, when I arrive I just move dryer around and plug hose back up with a quick twist. I went through a slide wall and attached a standard exterior house vent to outside.
