Excellent
This flashlight was recommended to me by the fire chief of a local fire department. He raved about hot durable and bright it was and the fact then he never felt that he didn’t have a good grip on it. He was absolutely right and it does not disappoint! Very bright and stays that way unlike other flashlights that slowly start to dim. Always have a good grip on it and love the fact that it won’t roll away if you rest it down. It does eat up batteries if you use it for long periods at full brightness so keep extra batteries on hand. I purchased the clip separately and love it. Does not loosen up or bend out of shape.

Nice bright very durable light
Its a very simple light that lights the way. push both buttons to light it and then either side one click lowers the lumens till off. I have no complaints I dropped it and no problems and honestly this light is built very tanky. love flat designed lights they fit very nice in pocket, dont roll around and easy to set up to light an area.

Decent light.
This one's sort of an old purchase, so take what I say with a grain of salt because it's been almost 4 years since I purchased it, so the manufacturer might have changed some processes but that's just what happens you know. Very nice aluminum flashlight, does not roll and in combination with any kind of AAA rechargeable batteries, a solid workhorse, you can take the batteries and charger to work that you would need to buy separately and you can charge it at lunch, it's very decently bright and if you use paracorda to tie it to your waist belt, you will never lose it especially if you do one of those permanent constrictor type knots. Doesn't break easy, the paint will come off if you drop it but the construction is very solid, it is low grade aluminum though so if you absolutely smash it it will chip and dent, but if you take care of your tools you should have no problem with this flashlight. Really durable indefinitely will attempt to buy again if it suits me.Really would be nice if it was like Nightcore where they have battery packs that can be charged without having to take it out, because there was a utility in being able to rapidly swap batteries. The butt plate can be opened up with a thick ass flat head screwdriver or a quarter which is really nice and practical. Feels good in the hand and I believe it won't slip with oil covering your skin with a good grip. Feels incredibly sturdy in the hand, and I would vouch as a responsible purchase.

Let me lay out what’s important......
The media could not be loaded. First. This is not a “flood light”. It’s a flashlight. Some high lumen handhelds are closer to floodlights. This is NOT one of them. It’s a perfect light for searching your work area and/or your immediate area for something. High lumens makes it easy to spot things even in a shadow created by the light. It doesn’t heat up enough when set to high to even mention. And the batteries last a very long time. I use it every day for about 10-20 min and the batteries are still good. That’s one month plus.... and...IT AFFORDABLE!!!! worth every penny. I might just buy a few more for my coworkers for Xmas.

Wow! This flashlight is amazing!
Wow, this flashlight is amazing! Exactly as described; extremely bright, easy to grip, compact and very durable. I dropped the flashlight on my tile flooring in my kitchen and was honestly concerned I cracked the tile floor. This flashlight is built to last! If you live alone, if you walk outside at night, this is the flashlight for you. Go ahead and buy it, you will not regret it.

Nice idea that needs improvement... Flat is nice - but hard to find button in the dark
There's plenty to like about this flashlight and I bought it for all the obvious reasons. The 310 lumens model is plenty bright for ordinary around the home use. Seems to have good solid construction.Where I think the design is weak, is finding the right end and the switch in the dark - such as in a bedside drawer when the lights are out. Both ends feel about the same. There's a lanyard hole at the tail, but with a lanyard, you can't stand it up vertically. I also think the switch should be larger and it would be great if it glowed, or at minimum was a bright color.I'd rate it a 2.5 - B for the idea, D for the design, A for construction... I plan to keep it. A great little light for the right application.

Got this for a gift
I have a person who is hard to buy gifts for. He is an older gentleman, and I have noticed that he has trouble reading menus in restaurants. Mainly due to how dimly lit many restaurants are these days. In the past I offered him the use of my AAA Mini Mag-light for him to use and after brainstorming for a gift idea I decided to grab him a nicer pocket light. I purchased the FLATEYE F-310 along with the pocket clip as I figured it would make a great gift combo. As far as it goes, I can't rate the flashlight based on performance or battery life because it's a gift for someone else. I can say this. It's longer than I thought it would be, and since I was getting this as a pocket light, I figured it would be a bit shorter. I set it beside one of my larger heavy-duty work pocket knives and as you can see it's basically the same size. Both length and thickness, so it should still work as a pocket light fairly well, although it's at the very limit for a adult male. This is way to long for a kid, woman, or younger teenager to use as a pocket light. If the manufacturer could shave about one inch off it, I think it would be perfect for everyone, pocket carry. The only real complaint is the packaging. The manufacturer didn't consider this being used as a gift. When you buy an expensive light for a gift, you don't want to just gift wrap the blister pack /plastic packaging, you want to toss it in a box of some sort. Make it look a little nice. The packaging is 12 inches tall by 6 inches wide. You can not buy a box in those dimensions. Either the box is way too small, or way too big. The smallest reasonable sized box I can find to wrap this as a gift is a dress shirt box. Which is over kill for a product so small. Next time Flat Eye designs a box for a new product, consider that at $35 and above, as a gift, the packaging should fit in a common sized box. Like a 9X6X3 that can be purchased at most stores.Really my only complaint.
