The Skechers drive 4 fuses comfort and style into one. This sneaker style golf shoe is the perfect choice for golfers who demand on-course performance blended with a fashionable, street-wear look. The spikeless design has enough traction to keep you from twisting while maintaining less stress on your feet. The ultra flight foam will make you want to wear them off the course as well. The drive 4s are also water resistant, meaning you are covered during light dewy mornings.

Comfortable and Efficient
I bought these to wear in Scotland and London where rain was expected during my vacation. I figured the textured sole designed for grip on the golf course and the water resistant upper would work well in rain and cobblestone streets. I was right. Although we only had 1 day of rain (a sprinkle really), the shoes kept my feet dry and grip on the cobblestones (uphill and downhill) worked great. I was extremely pleased with these shoes. These shoes look like a casual walking shoe and were very comfortable. I have a wide foot (EEE - EEEE) and these shoes were very comfortable. I never felt like I was walking around town in a golf shoe. I was also surprised that the nibs on the sole didn't seem to wear down by walking in the street. The nibs are some sort of hard plastic/rubber, yet they are soft and somewhat pliable. They gripped cobblestones and glided across sidewalks and pavement like a regular tennis shoe.I decided to try them out on the golf course since they were after all, golf shoes. I was skeptical that the grip wouldn't hold, particularly with all the torque generated when driving the ball. I was wrong. These shoes gripped as well as any of my soft spike golf shoes and were very comfortable on the golf course. I'm impressed! If the uppers were made of leather rather than synthetic, they would look like a high end shoe, but they served their purpose and I'm completely happy with them. Needless to say, I have a pair of shoes I can wear around town or on the golf course with equal comfort.

Nice at first, but...
I play a lot of golf, and for years have worn Ecco golf shoes, but I thought I'd give these a try, since I could get them very reasonably priced. They fit well, and were light and comfortable. At the end of the first summer, I started having trouble with blisters on my heels, so I got some blister tape, and it worked fine. In the autumn I started noticing that the shoes weren't as supportive, and that the uppers were tilted inwards from the soles. Also, the 'dits' sole were wearing out on the outsides of the shoes. Although this may be due to the way I walk, I've never noticed on my other golf shoes, which wore out more or less evenly. Even though the uppers still look great, after one year these shoes were worn out, vs the two years plus I'd get out of Eccos. I guess they were worth 1/3 of the price of Eccos, which is what I paid.

Very nice golf shoes
I played in these for the first time and I was impressed. They are very comfortable right out of the box and although I was skeptical about the gripping ability of these shoes, the grab the ground firmly and do not slip at all. I played in intermittent rain and the course was very hilly and soggy, but I never slipped once. These have replaced by FootJoy Dry Joys and outperform them by a wide margin. CAVEAT - These run small. Buy a half-size larger than you normally wear. I originally ordered a size 12 and I could barely get my feet in them. I reordered a 12.5 and they are perfect.

Long lasting comfort on the course....
Purchased these as an upgrade to my previous golf shoes - wanted to go spikeless this time. These have a good overall review and figured they were worth the risk. First day out on the course - I played 36 holes, granted I was riding in a cart but at the end of the day and 12,000 steps later (using the Garmin Approach S20 to track), my feet felt like I had just started the day. This says a lot as I am a transmet amputee (left foot/motorcycle wreck) and this shoe delivered the comfort I needed to make the day happen. Next big test will be to walk 9 on my next time on the course.Update: I have not only walked 9 but felt good enough to follow that up with an 18 hole round. The shoes are remarkable and provide all day comfort. I love the spikeless design that provides great grip on wet grass and excellent stability in the sand for those bunker shots. They support my "short" foot well and have made the enjoyment of walking a round a reality.

All-terrain running slippers
I've been through an unpleasant shoe shopping experience recently, but I finally found shoes which are shaped like my feet and have the cushioning I need.Unlike the "Pivot" model, which have a slightly narrower outline as is common in the shoe world now, the normal width version of these have more of the classic Skechers fit. However, I still need the wide option.I have a bad knee and need a lot of shock absorbing. These fully cushion my step. There is no bottoming-out. The various layers do their job perfectly. II could run in these easily. These do NOT have "memory foam" which is a marketing gimmick and not capable of supporting any weight at a thickness which fits in a shoe. All of the spring in these is provided by appropriate materials. The "spikeless" hard rubber spiked bottoms are good for walking on almost anything. The one thing I would like is to have nicer leather. These are perfectly fine given the price, but I would have paid more for the "LX" version. But those are not available in wide.

Very Comfortable, Terrible tread life
Found a recommendation for these shoes on a web site saying they were the most comfortable for people with large width feet. I tried a couple different pairs of manufacturer shoes, but these were by far the most comfortable.Follow up: After about 6 rounds, the tread on the back is already worn half way down. This would be a great shoe if with better tread life, but if I have to purchase another pair in less than a year because the tread wore down, I'd be willing to pay 2 to 3 times more for other shoes that I know last longer.

Great Golf Shoe!
After reading the reviews, I ordered a half size up and it fit perfect. I wear size 11 in all my shoes (vans,Nike’s, dress shoes, etc). I carefully read the reviews and felt that going up a half size would be the right choice and it was. The shoes are nice, comfortable and offer great grip. I’m not a professional golfer or would even say I’m a decent golfer, I play because I like it and these shoes were great. Great shoe and a great price.

Very comfy, I got a size bigger though
I've suffered with blisters after every round of golf and several different shoe brands and style over the years.I'm not a regular golfer, so probably never broken in a pair properly, but these shoes were comfy straight after putting them on.I am normally a 6.5 - 7 UK, and an average width foot, but after trying these in a 7, found them tight, and settled for an 8 which give a little room.First time worn for 22 holes and felt like I'd not had any shoes on the day after, (when I'm normally hobbling around with plasters on my heels )Good grips aswell for a summer shoe, can't comment on the showerproof quality, but will Scotchguard for rainy days.Overall, very happy with these, best shoes I ever owned !

Comfortable and decent value these days
Golf shoes are a ridiculous price these days so buying previous season models is better value. Never had this make before but relied on the name. Comfortable, although slightly low in the heel compared with Puma. I played well in them on first outing!

ok but get a half size bigger
Size was too small I am a 8.5 (measured by Clarkes). So ordered 8.5. First round of golf had to chnage back to my old golf shoes, as these were hurting me.

Very comfortable golf shoes.
These shoes are very comfortable and have a very traditional look to it. No frills. No fancy styling and colours. Just basic and comfortable.
