Best triple mag holder on the market.
Rarely do I give 5 star reviews for anything. I was looking for a triple magazine pouch but wanted one that was no wider or barely as wide as the double pouch on my duty belt. I was using a Blackhawk double mag pouch but found it didn't hold the mags as securely as I wanted (probably because my Glock mags caused the internal spring retention to weaken). I was also looking at it in case I let my guys carry single stack equipped magazines for new Sig Sauers. I wanted to find something that held at least three of those.Safariland always makes quality products. The mag holder is well made, holds three Sig 229 magazines securely and has a tension adjustment that works fine. It is no larger than my old double pouch. The mags are secured even upside down but easy to draw. It was easy to transition to out facing magazines from forward facing for quick, tactical reloads. Most of all, custom triple mag holders made by various other manufacturers cost anywhere from $50 to $150 and are not any more durable. Good product for the buck. It looks good on a duty belt as well.

good choice for me
Well constructed and it appears it will last a long time. It is quite tight on my Beretta magazines and I had to loosen the screws out nearly to the outer limits to get the mags to slide in and out.

Also works with M&P 2.0 9mm double stack mags!
Bought this initially for my off duty configuration for my Beretta 92G, but it's hard to take on and off a traditional belt. So, I put it on my duty belt in hopes that it would fit our department issued M&P 2.0, 9mm, double stack magazines, and it works like a charm. You almost don't feel it when it's empty, and even with mags in, assuming you don't have a REALLY big belly, it's comfortable to wear, even while seated. Secure for both the Beretta and the M&P mags. Would recommend this to anyone who favors open top mag holsters.

Solid as expected
Its' Safariland, nothing bad to say. I much prefer the open top design to the old flap style carriers.

Great magazine holder
This is a solid and quality made magazine holder. As the description says, it holdes them facing out, instead of laying flat, so you can get three mags in a small space of distance.I tested this using 3x 15rd magazines (Beretta 92fs) and also 3x 30rd magazines. My concern was that the fully loaded 30rd magazines would flip over or somehow not feel secure. But the pouch held them firmly and there's no movement. There is an adjustment screw on the magazine holder that allows you to adjust the snugness. Great magazine pouch/holster.

Sadness... All around sadness.
I'm a Safariland fan, but this particular model - as per Safariland's website - should fit the H&K P2000 .40 magazines, right? Wrong! Even removing the tensioning screws completely does not allow for the magazines to fit properly. The mold is too narrow - the magazines are too wide and will not fit in the slots.Poorly done, Safariland.

i got this to use with my beretta 92. i decided to go with a higher cap gun than my 1911 with the way things are today and this gives me a way to carry more without any trouble

Safariland makes quality products...
I'd like to start off with Safariland makes quality products! That's why we use them at work and why I decided to go with them for my personal use.I purchased these magazine holders for my Sig P226. I know it says it's for Glock 17,22 and other Glock 9mm but I've also read they're fine for other 9mms. My Sig mags fit snug and you'd think it was made for Sig. I've also attached a picture where you can see my M&P 9mm magazine fits fine as well. Hope this helps!

Fits like a glove
Fits like a glove and a tight fit and adjustable.Excellent fit for 3 mags.It will fit over a 2 inch x 1/4 inch belt with molly webbing. It is a tight fit and you will have to use two butter knives to feed the belt threw the belt loop. Two belt keeps to keep it in place and it ain't going to move.

Great product.
Excellent product. Very well designed and manufactured. I love the orientation, it saves space by putting the magazines on the ends, 3 will take up the same space as 2 on their sides. The adjustment screw allowed for different mags to be used and you can make them fit as tight or loose as you like. The belt slot is nice and wide, so the belt fits easily. Overall very happy with this product.

Magazine pouch seems very durable. Mags fit in perfect. I like the fact that you can adjust it to how you want your magazines to fit. As lose or as tight as you prefer.
