Hefty Touch-Lid 13.3-Gallon Trash Can, Black, 3 Pack

I never thought I would be writing a review for a trash can, but this one is terrific. My stainless steel round one that opened with a toe touch finally collapsed and I did not want to spend that much money for one again. This Hefty holds more trash and is very easy to open and close. It is easy to clean and I no longer am concerned about a trash can leaking.

This garbage can works for throwing away trash and the push top option is convient when you dont want your house smelling only issue i had with this garbage can is that the lid doesnt tightly grab the base on the back side and so i eneded up using electrical tape to create a better seal.

It's ok. I bought this online after seeing both my sisters-in-law Hefty trash cans in their kitchens. This is not the same quality although I expected it to be from the reviews. It is a hard plastic which I expect will break and crack over time. It is flimsier than I thought it would be and it has a glossy finish which I prefer would have been matte. Hefty makes other household trash cans that are a much better quality -- I'm just disappointed in this particular one. I kept it to store wrapping paper rolls, because I didn't want to incur return shipping.

I like the size, shape and the color of this can (black). The weak point is the cheap plastic they use on the lid, its pivot points and the ledges that the springs rest on. Eventually they break and then you either have a lop-sided raising lid that opens in slow motion, or you have a lid that doesn't open at all.I've already gone through their customer service and they supplied a new lid (albeit warped). But it then broke a couple months later. I'm looking into other brands as it's just happened again. I'm done with Hefty products.

I finally found a garbage can I love. The shape and size are perfect. I love how the lid opens end to end instead of from the side. This is the second one I've purchased. We broke the lid on the first one after about 8 months of use. I appreciate the design of this garbage can enough that I bought another, and I will just be more careful with the lid.

Can get a cheaper can elsewhere, but this one is heavy duty, fits the trash bags perfectly and fits in the space that I needed great. No unusual crevices anywhere to cause more dirt or dust. Will buy again as will last forever and doubles as a recycler if needed.

It's a good garbage can that fits in the space we have. I wish the lid didn't open as far as it does because it slams into the wall behind it. the plastic lid lock tends to get worn out and then it doesn't stay closed. Our previous garbage can was this same style so I'm hoping it lasts longer this time around.

Love this trash can! This is my second purchase, only due to me tossing the lid and losing one of the springs. Simply touch the top, front button and it opens with ease. I will never buy another type. And I've tried them all swivel, foot touch you name it. I would highly suggest this can.
