Is the drain plug seat fine thread or coarse thread? i want to replace with moen 10709bg sink drain plug and seat

The Moen 14526 Replacement Part ,Chrome 8.25 x 2 x 2 inches is a non-metallic drain assembly and is not compatible with the Moen 10709BG drain plug and seat. the little clip that holds the rod to the lever, can that be purchased separately? If so, does it have a name?

What is the rod called that (pivots with the ball) actually lifts the drain stopper?

The Moen 14526 Replacement Part, Chrome 8.25 x 2 x 2 inches comes with a Lift Rod, the part that you grab, located behind the faucet that closes the drain.  The Moen 14526 Replacement Part, Chrome 8.25 x 2 x 2 inches also comes with a Pivot Rod, the part with a ball, installed under the sink and that goes into the back of the drain pipe. Do you need to use plumbers putty on the sink flange or is there a gasket included?
