Both were good but the lift rod was at such an angle that it wouldn't clear the backsplash. So we had to omit that and install instead a pop-up drain stopper at additional cost. And the pop-up stopper in our opinion results in an inferior rube-goldberg fix. But it does work. We have had no trouble with the faucets over the past year.We are now adding another bathroom. We did like the original faucets well enough to order another for the new bathroom through Amazon. In the new bathroom we designed the sink cutout to provide the required 2-1/2 inch clearance so we could install the lift rod. When the faucet arrived it looks the same above the counter as the ones purchased last year, but below the counter there are two additional plastic lines that oddly enough are delivered disconnected and the installation instructions say they need to be connected in order for the faucet to function. Our new vanity has very limited space so adding two plastic lines is a nuisance. And obviously they add another potential point of leakage in the future.We contacted Delta, several times. Customer service was responsive and polite, but the first three responded with misinformation. Finally on the fourth attempt Delta's customer service did the research and discovered that somewhere in Delta's production they decided to change the design and add the mysterious two lines. We did not find out why they were added. The model number did not change. There appears to be no way to specify the superior first generation design, if it is even still available anywhere.In our opinion the two extra lines add nothing of value to the customer, but they do add complexity and potential for failure. I also purchased the two-handle, and want to point out it was about 1/3 of the price. It is also a lot smaller and thus looks more suited to most bathrooms. One vanity we have is 31in and the other is 51, and this faucet looks too big on both! I'm keeping it b/c it matches everything else and looks nice. It's also much more attractive than this model."},{"@type":"Review","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"5.0"},"author":{"@type":"Person","name":"A***A"},"datePublished":"Reviewed in Canada on June 4, 2018","name":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n Five Stars\n \n","reviewBody":"Wish it came in a shiny bronze"},{"@type":"Review","reviewRating":{"@type":"Rating","ratingValue":"4.0"},"author":{"@type":"Person","name":"R***0"},"datePublished":"Reviewed in Canada on February 16, 2017","name":"\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n \n great product but flawed...\n \n","reviewBody":"the faucet itself is a five star product. it is beautiful, it exudes quality and it works flawlessly. furthermore, the canadian supplier/warranty provider air-freighted a replacement which arrived in a day and a half - reason, there are two versions of the interior 'plumbing' of the faucet and amazon sent me one of each. delta's canadian contact was fabulous and i now have two identical faucets.so why only 4 stars? simple, the escutcheon plate provided for 3 hole installations is too small (barely covers the 'outside' holes), is made of flimsy pressed metal (think of a tin can), and it distorts when the faucet is tightened thus leaving spaces around the base which will certainly eventually fill with water, guck etc. there is a centre plastic ring under the main body of the faucet which is designed to prevent the escutcheon from collapsing during tightening but i have ceramic sinks and the outer holes slope out a bit. porcelain on metal sinks might work better. the two faucets went in our ensuite bath and two moen faucets were installed in other bathrooms. the moen faucets used cast escutcheon plates with surface rubber mats for sealing and stability... far superior to the delta faucets' plates which have a foam inner-liner which collapsed into the outer sink holes when the faucets were tightened down.as for appearance, these faucets replaced two much older polished brass delta faucets and, i really prefer this finish - very striking and rich looking. now if someone at delta reads this review and redesigns and improves the escutcheon plate, this will be a definite five star product."}],"aggregateRating":{"@type":"AggregateRating","ratingValue":4.4,"bestRating":5,"ratingCount":10}}
