Aristotle: The Complete Works

The explanation for the headline above is that this is delivered in a smaller font than usual, so it is easier to read on the larger kindle. having said that, I'm still not familiar with the kindle 8 and how to highlight texts etc.

Aristotle remains a great mind over millenia. I used quoting e.g. in my book on nonlinear models for economic decisions at Imperial College Press. Highly recommend it, once in a while it is good to return to the origins in order to start thinking in new ways.

I waited years to buy this. All I could find was $80! This was only 3! I think everybody should have free or cheap access to these books and it's finally been done! Thank you to those who did the hard work to make this available!

Purchased this to authenticate quotes, rather than to read. But the search feature is utterly useless, and the lack of translation details mean trying to find ANY single line or quote is only 40% successful most times. For reading, the product is OK, but Aristotle is hardly the most recent philosopher, and vast amounts of his 'scientific thoughts' are utterly wrong.

Interesting diversion from mainstream TV...

There are many long sections where nonsense word-salads are presented and the use of current words to describe ancient interpretations are not clearly defined. That may be an issue of the translator. Aristotle’s syllogisms and enthymemes are of no value to any enduring civilization. Although, his writings were part of the education of Roman emperors in its declining centuries. His descriptions of late ancient Greek culture, customs, and laws makes it a worthwhile read. Because he was a “disciple” of Platon who was a “disciple” of the convicted death-row pedophile and eunuch Socrates, at the end of Ancient Greek civilization, it’s also an interesting study of the role that eunuchs play in the life cycle of civilizations. Before them, and even after them, non-apocryphal studies of the soul would only come from authorized priests. At times apocryphal, interesting and historical.

原文（ギリシャ語）と並行して読み進んでいるが、直訳的だが、自然な英語でわかりやすい。日本語版ではかなり古い言い回しと語彙が目立つのが多いが、この本は最新の研究成果が反映されていると思う。
