Mate Factor Yerba Organic Chai Loose, 12 Ounce (2 Pack)

Got this yesterday and drank three cups of it! I love it! Its the perfect amount of chi spice with just subtle hints of the Mate with no "grassy" taste to it. The bag it came in was packed full! Like to the brim. So even though it had this nice little twisty at the top to keep it fresh I just knew it was going to spill out so I put it in a tin I already had. The only downside to this product is that it is super SUPER fine! even my fine mesh strainer won't keep the bits out. I ended up using a coffee filter like a tea bag. I don't like floaties! Probably the finest tea I have ever seen but not quite a powder. Just wish the chunks were a smidge bigger so my tea strainers could catch it but otherwise a great product and will be getting it again!

Had been buying bagged yerba mate by this same company, but when price doubled on here, I decided to try this loose and purchase a tea Ball instead. Glad I did! You get far more for the price, and the flavor is way better and richer. Will continue to buy the loose and would highly recommend it.

Flavor is very potent, so I recommend starting small and eventually adding more until you find the strength you enjoy. Definitely not your average Yerba Mate blend. The spices don't taste generic or old, and it's a great kick in the mornings to wake me up. The package itself was a little difficult to open, but nothing overall to be worried about. I liked that there was an expiration sticker attached to the package to guarantee freshness. I would recommend this for someone to scared of strong flavors.

Not as flavorful as the dark roasted Mate from the same company although the spices are good. Better with a little sweetener than with milk as traditional black tea chai is served with.

I used to buy the bags. But this bulk if less expensive and I have substituted for coffee

Love Yerba Matte as I gave up caffeine years ago; LOVE this flavor.

Love the product but it's very fine and sometimes clogs up my maker. I use it sometimes in combination with another chai tea.

Lots of good tea in this package.
