If you like 'em riding high, measure around your belly button. The history of the kilt stretches back to at least the end of the 16th century. The kilt first appeared as the belted plaid or great kilt, a full length garment whose upper half could be worn as a cloak draped over the shoulder, or brought up over the head as a hood.

Great product, great price! I'm amazed that this kilt was at this price point. It is made of a high quality wool blend and the colors are brilliant. The fit is exact. I've seen much less quality kilts at much higher prices.

Measure! Your size pants are not your size kilt.
Make sure you measure because these don't fit anyway near what the usual waist size is. Also, the seller was very difficult to deal with. He didn't seem to understand the basics of returning a product for another size.
