For over 30 years Jet has set the standard for instant glues. Developed to withstand the heat and vibration common in flying model airplanes, Jet?s industrial-grade strength makes it ideal for use in mold making, auto repair, ceramic to metal bonds, wood working, trade show displays, jewelry making, prototyping, set design, electronics, and a wide range of craft projects and household repairs. Slow Jet is Jet?s thickest version and is great for maximum gap filling and offers extra strength holding power.

JET SLOW is excellent for the joining of dissimilar materials
I build high grade, multi-media model race cars in my retirement years. I have not found a better bonding material to handle dissimilar materials - period. I have tried just about all of the cyanoacrylates but other brands aren't even in the race. Before making the glued joint, I use spray carburetor to clean the joint area of any release agent that may have been left on the items to be assembled. It is always good to follow this procedure, but it is essential while connecting white metal components. The JET usually bonds in 5 minutes or less, and after curing for 24 hours, it is particularly difficult to disassemble (I usually soak the connection in lacquer thinner for 24 hours - it may take more than one soaking, after you've scrapped off the softened glue).I give the JET SLOW only a 4 out of 5 stars because anything can be improved, but in this case, I would love to have a 4.5 star in the product rating.Regards to all, Wolf
