Bought this for my girlfriend who heard about weighted blankets and asked me to get one. After doing some research it seemed insane to me that 'official' Gravity Blankets were as expensive as they are for a blanket with glass beads inside, so I looked at alternatives and read a lot of reviews, and found this one. I bought it for $49 with the little coupon button at the top of the page (64 without). A Gravity Blanket of the same size/weight would be 189.00 plus shipping, bringing it to $204. My friend has a Gravity Blanket, and I have this YnM one, I have felt both, and I can say without question- if you buy a Gravity Blanket over this, you are a sucker.They feel identical in terms of quality. The only real difference is that a Gravity Blanket is "fuzzy", so it is outwardly softer feeling. Personally I hate fuzzy blankets, they produce lint and static electricity, but if you did want that texture, I would suggest using a duvet cover with the YnM that is the texture of your choice. Really, you should be using a cover with a weighted blanket anyway, because I don't think your washing machine is going to be happy with you if you throw a 15+ LB weighted blanket in there. Personally, I just use it without a cover and accept the risk, it is perfectly comfortable.Conclusion: If you want a weighted blanket, look no further. You aren't going to beat the quality, or price. At the very least, get this before you "upgrade" to a Gravity Blanket to see if you even truly like a weighted blanket, you may find it isn't for you and at least you'll have Amazon's return policy, or only be out $50.

High quality fabric, I really like the pattern. I was surprised at how heavy a 15 lb blanket actually feels, but it is so cozy. It does insulate and make me warmer at night, but I love the weight on my body. If I cant sleep and I throw this over myself, I'm usually out within 10 minutes.

I purchased this about 3 weeks ago and have been using it every night since then. I have never slept better in my entire life and I wake up every morning feeling so well rested. I weigh around 170 lbs and even though they recommend the 15 lb blanket for someone around 140 lbs, any heavier than this would be too much weight for me. I replaced my top comforter with this since it does retain a lot of heat, but I like feeling cozy when I sleep so I really enjoy it. If you tend to overheat easily or like the feeling of cool blankets in bed, then I would not recommend this.

Wish I would have gotten a bigger size. Seems to be twin bed sized. Weight seems to distribute more to edges

I recommend this blanket for stomach sleepers - Overall has allowed me to fall asleep, and stay asleep on my back a significantly greater percentage of the time - likely 4x-6x more than I did pre-blanket.Weighted blankets aren't the not the end-all, be-all, but this is a great weighted blanket, at an amazing price compared to others out there.I've found that in general it helps provide a lot of comfort, but sometimes it's just too much and you need to transition from using it to not using it.

Friends recommended a weighted blanket to help reduce my anxiety and help me sleep better without tossing and turning and twitching all night long. This blanket was the highest rated in all my research. I am so happy with it! Not only does it feel so comfortable and give me the best night sleep, the blue and white fabric matches my bed linens and looks great when folded up during the day. I highly recommend this blanket overall. I am a small adult on 5 feet 2 inches tall, so I selected the Twin size which is perfect for teenagers, young adults and smaller sized adults.

Every night for the past 5+ yrs I have taken a sleep aid or muscle relaxer to stay asleep. I'd still wake up 6-20 times a night. I felt drunk or hungover all the time from lack of sleep or the drugs. Since my blanket arrived, (I haven't taken any drugs), I have slept so soundly, have less body pains (morning backaches are my life), and I wake up feeling refreshed and not grumpy feeling. My husband just used mine this morning after he went back to bed, after he awoke, I ordered his very own. He was amazed that it was everything I touted.
