Great Secure strap
I've used hand straps for my cameras for many years. I do not care for neck strap's; I do like the added stability and security provided by a hand strap. This is the 1st hand strap I've had that includes a wrist strap which further prevents you from dropping the camera and allows you the release your grip. The base is Arca-Swiss mount compatible, so you don't need an additional plate to mount the camera to your tripod. However, I do have to use an additional plate to make it work with my camera clip (locking clip that allows me to hang my camera on my belt or the strap of my backpack). My clip requires a square plate and since the plate on this strap is rectangular it won't fit the Arca-Swiss base on my clip. This minor issue has not stopped me from replacing the aging straps on my other cameras with this strap.

Awesome Hand Strap
I’ve been wanting to rid my SONY SLT-A58 of the neck strap for some time. That time was now and I’m so glad I bought this JJC strap. It’s very comfortable, the bottom mount is extremely solid (made from Billet Aluminum) and can accept a tripod adapter and has an adjustable extension hole just in case you want a neck strap as well. Once adjusted properly, your camera is an extension of your hand, and you can simply “let go” of the camera and it WILL NOT fall from your wrist. LOVE IT!

This is one of my favorite things for the camera but it really depends on how you hold ur camera

Feels comfortable. Too early for a realistic review.
I like the plate on the grip.

Love this over neck strap.
1. So easy to mount onto camera.2. Takes neck strain away from heavy camera hanging on neck.3. Peace of mind when shooting with long lens over a ledge or whatever where a drop would destroy your camera or disappear 4ever. 😁👍

Secure and comfortable
Have 2 of these and they are great. Pease of mind that your not going to drop an expensive camera. Takes a little getting used to because it holds your hand so close its a little tricky maneuvering your finger to the different controls.

Comfortable on the hand
I haven’t had the opportunity to use it on a session yet but just the short time I used it at home I really liked it. It felt secure and comfortable! It was easy to put on my camera and even had a place on the plate to hold the BlackWidow Spider pin. Great price too!

I've never felt safer holding my camera!
I no longer have to apply a "death grip" when I'm not immediately using the camera and feel safe just letting it dangle from my wrist.Unlike my first wrist strap, it stays within the palm of my hand not freely dangling about more prone to banging into its surroundings.I was worried the inside padding would cause the back of my hand to sweat; that hasn't happened yet. And it's not itchy either! So far, so good.

High quality, comfortable, fits very well.
Accidentally dropping an expensive camera body has become a real concern as the arthritis has advanced in my right hand. It sometimes lets go without warning. That's a real problem when you're holding a $5500 camera body with a $2900 lens on it. So I needed some sort of hand strap.I settled on the JJC after reading the reviews and attached it to my Canon EOS 5Ds. Here's what I've found...1. The supplied bottom plate works with with my tripod, but turns out to be unnecessary. All of my camera bodies have a camera grip. You can attached the bottom of the strap to the battery grip and have it fit perfectly and then toss the plate in your "stuff I can't get rid of, but will never use again" tub. It has a habit of coming loose when used in combination with my Cotton Carrier harness so it had to go.2. This thing is just sooooo comfortable. I've used it to hold a camera with a 400mm lens on a three hour hike and my hand feels fine with it. My hand has let go on the longer hikes and the hand strap kept me from dropping my rig.I'm actually buying a second strap for my new Canon EOS R5 as I type this. I figured it deserved a positive review since I'm buying a second now, and will likely buy a third for my 5D Mk III backup body next month.Highly recommended by a former pro photographer.
