LockState RemoteLock 5i WiFi Electronic Lever Door Lock - Polished Brass - Aspen (LS-L5i-PB-A)

I bought this for a vacation rental property and I am super happy with this lock. I can remotely manage codes both for permanent users (myself, housekeeper, property management company, etc) and guests. Guest codes are only valid for the time and date window you specify. Currently I am on the $3/month plan which allows me to individually configure each access code to send me notifications (text, email, or web) whenever the door is unlocked, either the first time, or every time. So for example, I have it set to notify me every time the housekeeper shows up, and for guests you can just have it notify you once so you know they made it in OK. It's really flexible and the web interface is easy to manage. There's also a phone app but I haven't played with that yet.The lock connects directly to your WiFi so you don't need a smart hub. Because the lock's WiFi circuit draws current, most of the time the lock is "asleep" and wakes up periodically to connect to their server. I've seen a couple critical reviews that mention this, but really this is a pretty reasonable limitation for a battery-operated device, and you can configure the lock to wake up and connect to the server more frequently if this is an issue for you. I have it configured to connect once and hour, and it will connect immediately if there's an event (i.e. somebody unlocks the door).Currently I am managing the access codes myself, but I'm considering upgrading to the $6/month package which allows the lock to integrate automatically with Airbnb,etc and generate user codes for each reservation automatically.January 2020 update:Still very happy with this lock. I did end up upgrading to get Airbnb integration, and it is amazing. Seriously. Now, when somebody books my place, a unique access code is automatically generated for that guest, and LockState send them a message through Airbnb that has their unique code along with directions, where to park, etc. So from the guest perspective, they book the place and within a minute or two they have all their check-in information. It looks very professional and it also enables me to offer last-minute bookings.The guest access code is only active for the time window I configure (starts at check in time on arrival date, and I give them an hour grace window past checkout time on departure date). And I automatically get an email the first time a guest opens the lock so I know when they've arrived. If a guest makes a reservation and then cancels it, the lock automatically removes their code. And every time the housekeeper shows up, I get an email informing of of that, so I know the place got turned over. This all happens without any intervention on my part. This is an enormous time-saver for me.After 9 months the batteries were still going strong but I replaced them anyway. They still had plenty of charge. Even with a heavily accessed Airbnb like mine, I am guessing the batteries would last well over a year.

The product has a nice finish; however i have used other locks that have buttons that are softer and easier to press. Secondly; there is no way to know when the batteries are starting to fail. One time they just didn’t light up and we were locked outside. I was forced to remove a door to get in the home. My keys were inside.

This has been the worst experience. I purchased my lock in October and it is still not working even after multiple call to LockState Customer service. Come to find out that the app only works with iPhones and unsure of when Android app will be coming out. What a easy of time and money.

My lock works as it is described. Installation went smoothly, the setup and programming was quick and easy, too!

Funciona muy bien. Sólo tiene un cable un poco delicado, pero tratándolo con cuidado se instala fácilmente y funciona perfecto.
