Excellent quality and the most cozy and relaxing seat in the house. I bought this for my 5 year old (as a gift for his new room when we moved houses). I bought a papasan cushion from Pier 1 and it fits inside perfectly and takes the coziness to the next level. I also bought a hammock chair spring mounting kit, and screwed it directly into a ceiling hoist. Super stable. My son lurrrrrves it, and he’s actually napping in it right now while I type this (it’s quiet and peaceful inside the chair). Planning to get some battery operated lights to hang inside for reading. Great purchase! Oh and I purchased it discounted with out-of-box and it was in perfect condition. A+

i used a stand for the cocoon, however i would recommend securing it in place- the chair swings quite a bit getting in and out and can be a little annoying. it is also a little noisy (like canvas stretching), which is helped a bit by securing it as well. she works great and is very cute and comfy! overall definitely worth the purchase.

If you have a child who is rambunctious with sensory needs this may not be a great swing for them... think of it more as a hanging tent. You get in and hang out -- it does move, but not swinging back and forth. It is a bit tricky to get in and get your weight in the middle of it.It's almost easy to put together. Getting last pieces of the piping together was a bit tricky (make sure the ring isn't zipped in because you need to flex the pieces in order to get the last two joined.)Time will tell if this was worth about $100. We have two other styles of $40 swings (one hammock like and made of something that feel like ripstop/tent material and one of the lycra stretchy ones -- the kids love those and those are good for swinging.)
