Q: Does this really take 1-2 months to ship?

Not at the time I purchased it - Oct. 2019.

Q: My son is 7, so according to chart I should get him a large?

When I bought it my son was 6 and 60lb, 50in tall. The medium was sold out so I got a large but it was WAY too big. I had to cut and sew the arms and legs for him to wear. Otherwise it seemed to fit him fine, but I am sure the medium would have been more appropriate. Hope it helps!
