When this product arrived, it came with a card that invited a review in exchange for a $15 Amazon gift card, which seemed really unethical to me. I am hereby politely declining that offer and will instead leave a review for free.I really wanted to love these strips because of the great reviews and the cheaper price than some of the other silicone scar treatments out there. And for what it’s worth, I think the silicone treatment actually is helping my scars. However, getting these strips to stay ON is a different matter. The first time I applied the strips, they worked reasonable well, but the idea that these are “reusable” is ludicrous. Like other reviewers have mentioned, taking them off your skin makes the strips stick to your fingers and inevitably leads to pieces folding in on themselves (which is impossible to fix at that point). The instructions also say to gently clean the strips in between use, but despite my best efforts to follow the instructions very carefully, cleaning the strips more or less ruined them for me. Parts were still sticky afterwards, but large portions simply would stick to my skin anymore. I ended up having to use the second sheet that came in the box and this went through the “2-months supply” in a few days. I don’t know if more expensive sheets will have similar problems, but I won’t be buying this particular brand again.

I’ve been using Aromas silicone strips for 2 weeks now. My incisions were initially swollen to the point that the incision looked like a zigzag. Once I started using the silicone strips the swelling went down and the incision is now a straight line.The color has changed from purple to pink and is getting lighter and flatter by the day.I wash my incisions at night with antibacterial soap and pat dry and cut the silicone strip and easily adhere it to my skin. There’s no need for extra tape, it adheres great and stays on all day.

I am basing my opinion on a 3" scar from cancer surgery on my face. I purchased the scar strips and cream. I had to cut the strips to fit my need. They were very easy to cut but when cutting, you need to remember to leave the part of the strip that allows you to remove the strip easily from the backing, sort of like a bandaid. The only negative comment I will say and that is I think because where my surgery was ( just under the corner of my mouth) the adhesive seems to come off my skin at the corners. I started cutting the corners off the strip when attached to try and stop the corner peeling. It helps some what. It is not a huge deal but I thought I would mention it. I have religiously used the strips 24/7 and after several weeks, what a difference. Although my Dr. deserves most of the credit (all she does is face surgery) the Aroamas strips have played a huge part in my recovery.Since I purchased the Aroamas cream also, I am beginning to use the cream (as directed) during the evening to help break up the callous inside the scar. So far, by using the cream I can feel the difference. I can actually feel the lump from the inside stitches lessen up. Unless you know where the surgery was, I can honestly say no one sees the scar except when I tell them where to look.Thank you so much Aroamas!

These strips are very effective. Skin stays very soft under the sticky silicone patch. You can tell even after the first use that the scar is softer and healing flatter and more consistently.The pictures attached are about a month out on a deep mole removal. Have been using these patches for about 2 weeks. Much better than a bandaid and keeps the skin moist for good healing.I bought the c section long strips and just cut them to size. The only issue is these are sooo sticky they are hard to get off your fingers. But the stickiness is really nice ultimately as it stays in place very good all day long even after getting sweaty during a workout. I remove them to shower and then stick them back on. I changed them out after 7 days as the stickiness started to wear off and they just started to look dirty. I plan to keep using these for the full 8 weeks. It’s not magic and is still a slow natural body healing process but would definitely recommend as its much easier than lotions and seems to be helping minimize scaring.

Deep keloid scar from c section a year ago. Decided to use these sheets overnight while sleeping for 1 week and noticed a huuuge improvement. Less redness and scar thickness going away. They do get sticky on the edges from removing and reapplying but that’s gonna happen with any product like this.

I have two keloid scars on my chest from dermal piercings. One is more prominent and redder than the other. I've only been using this product for about two weeks, but I think the red scar is lightening. The less prominent scar seems to be flattening. My hope is that the more visible scar will flatten and fade. The packaging says the process takes 3-6 months. You can cut the strips to size and reuse them as long as they stick. They stay sticky for a long time. If you don't mind it looking a little beat up, you can use the same strip for a week, at least for a small area like I'm treating (maybe 2"x 3/4"), which is usually covered by clothing. I've only used two strips so far (two weeks). I also bought the gel to massage the scars with. If this stuff works, I plan to use it on my C-section and hip replacement scars. Will try to remember to update a few months from now with a progress report and pictures.

I had a thyroid surgery with a pretty big scar 3 months back. I have been using this by cutting them into 4 pieces to cover the scar. Now it is almost gone.

This is my second purchase of this item. It seems like I received two different products. They are identical, and arrived in the same packaging however my first order I wore for a month and washed everyday and only after a month did they start rolling up and bunching up that I reordered a new box. This second order is useless it doesn’t even stay stuck to my body. I threw them out after only one use.
