A good quality lubricant.

As you would expect from a 3 in 1 oil, works well on hinges, outdoor screws and fittings that you need to protect from the elements or to stop squeaking.... Especially good for shed hinges, locks, and locks for patio doors and windows, stops the squeaking and friction / hitting whilst closing them. Essential for any tool kit

Good on most things better than wd

Excellent. Even better than regular 3-in-1 oil. The improvement is the addition of PTFE, which resists dirt sticking to the oil. Regular lubes can attract dirt, eventually turning the oil into a paste that wears components instead of lubricating them. Whereas 3-in-1 oil with PTFE avoids this problem. It's the best lube I've found for garage door mechanisms. 3-in-1 also recommend it for cycle chains, workshop and garden tools, scissors, hinges, axels and more! Don't confuse this with WD40. WD40 frees sticky mechanisms, but doesn't lubricate. WD40 also stays wet and attracts grit, thickens with age and eventually causes things like locks to jam. (Should you need a lock lube specifically, then Abus PS88 is by far the best I've tried: ABUS 088155 PS88 Protective Spray non-Fatty Solution 50 ml .)

I bought this product as it offers an effective solution to lubricating small and large tools as well as products.

Superior quality oil for my door locks. Use about every couple of months to keep locks lubricated.

What's different about this is the method of delivery. You can spray into hard-to-reach areas. However, it's still the same 3-in-one oil it always was, and very runny. Can be messy.
