These seed are an old variety. My grandmother would let her plants self seed in the flower bed. They require planting in the fall and letting them get cold then get warm several times just like wild flower seeds do (stratification). It is hard to remember to do but I planted mine in the fall in the flower bed and let nature do its thing. they take awhile to come up but the wait is worth it.

Minute amount of seeds in package that I received. I ordered other colors from different vendors and received much more seeds. As a gardener, I do know that not all seeds germinate and the more you have the better success you will have for plants to grow.

Dislike. Bought white & pink. Not one came up. Rip off. They said seeds are tested. Lot of reasons why they didn't grow. Insinuating it's my fault. Bought some from a different place and they all came up.

It's been three weeks since I planted the seeds in a protected tray and thus far I have only three seedlings. 6% not so good!

Different varieties of this alleged 'rare' plant are commonly availableat[...]I have purchased seeds from this reliable source for years. Some seeds such as 'Lychnis' need a cooling period before they will germinate.This is an easy seed to grow but you have to give it what it needs. The above site will also give good instruction on germinating these seeds.

I am an avid Gardner with 2 green thumbs. These seeds never germinated.
