Someone call Ashton Kutcher, I'm pretty sure I got Punk'D.
I honestly can't remember the last time I have been so utterly disappointed in a product since the first time my wife accidentally bought 1-ply toilet paper.Actually I'm pretty sure that they either changed the photo for this product since I ordered it; my recollection was that it was a vinyl strip suspended from 36" of metal which you screw to the bottom of the door on the side that it swings toward... you know what I'm talking about. However, I do recall "Twin Draft Guard" as being the product name. Maybe I didn't look hard enough, I don't want to blame the company for a mistake which could plausibly be my own.So then, let's look at the product description."Guards against drafts, dust, odors, insects & noise!"...I lack the resources (mainly a jar of bees) to test all these things, but it seems possible that this might be true. After all, they only say "guards against" and not "blocks.""Easy to install and stays in place; no need to reposition!"...absolute fabrication, unless you supply your own duct tape / velcro / nails. This things slips around like an epileptic in dress shoes on an ice rink."Saves energy by preventing cold drafts!"...only if it actually prevents cold drafts. I suspect it might be marginally effective at this."Can be used on interior and exterior doors of all types!"...sorry, that's just not true to the spirit of the claim. Sure, you "can use" it on doors of any kind, but there are many caveats that the average user might assume the manufacturer has looked after which simply can't be taken for granted. Firstly, the distance from the door to the floor matters IMMENSELY, as does the thickness of the door, as does the consistency (or lack thereof) of the floor surface on either side of said door."Fits doors up to 2" wide and 36" long!. Comes in the color Brown."...that 2" is a made up number. The one we received would have "fit" a door up to maybe 4" wide. Ours is about 2.5" wide and there's a lot of extra fabric causing it to fit poorly and slide around.I am pleased to announce, however, that it most definitely is the color brown. Therefore, it is rewarded one star. A big, brown starfish. My suggestion is that you get yourself a water noodle (or some pipe insulation foam) and a pillowcase, and make your own if this is what you need... your end product will likely be superior in fit and function.

Stops drafts with some minor modifications
Purchased this as draft guard for my front door in an apartment building.Pros:Stays putEasily goes over threshold (which I was concerned about)Helps keep cold hallway air out, which has kept my thermostat steadierCons:Space between guards is too wide as is (I have a standard 34" wide x 2" thick door)Needs some modificationsOverall, I'm happy with the purchase because it is getting the job done fairly well. Instead of my heater turning on every 1 -2 hours, It's been turning on only about 3 times a day, and about 2-3 times at night depending on outside temp. I would say this is a significant change. However, I'm only leaving 3 stars because in order for the draft to be kept out, I had to make some minor modifications. Even though the product is listed as ideally fitting a 2" wide door (which mine is) the space between the guards is a good 1 inch bigger, which leaves a lot of wiggle room - enough for the draft to still come through. I ended up doing some quick fixing with tape to make the gap smaller and this stopped the draft from coming through. So overall, it did it's job with some tweaking. The product listing says it fits up to 36" doors but I have a 34" and it covers about 33". So if you have a bigger door, get the "Extreme" version or replace tubes with some from Home Depot as other reviewers have said.

Miami Sunshine
I bought this for my front door to cover the small space underneath the door, for better insulation so my air conditioner stays inside where it belongs. I live in Miami, Florida and it gets very hot and humid here, and keeping our homes cool is a must. This small gadget does the job, I've bought them before, so this is my 2nd purchase, they come 2 per package. It was easy to install, just measure and cut the tube/material to the size of my door. Best thing it doesn't get in the way of opening or closing my door. I have more than 1, so I can wash them and replace as needed.

The door gets stuck when opening or closing.
ok well I guess it does the job... A few problems, the tubes inside the pockets are loose, so I feel like the styrofoam tubes are not where the gap between the door is but lower this not really protecting from the draft. My solution - added a seam on the sewing machine to make the pocket narrower.Second problem it ALWAYS get stuck when opening and closing the door, so it is incredibly inconvenient. My solution add elastic on the ends so it "hugs the door".The problem is, that these improvement take time I could spend elsewhere, so my rating is 3 stars, as it is not too expensive and gives you the materials to play around with:)

It is pretty effective. But the second one I bought won't ...
I bought this mainly to block sound from going under the door out into the common hallway. It is pretty effective. But the second one I bought won't fit under the door, so I can't use it. They are nice looking, almost discreet.

just ok
I use this to minimize the draft coming up from my basement. It works well enough for this purpose. I can't see it being effective on an outside door, and would probably get caught on any door with a threshold.

I had to tape it to the door so it ...
I had to tape it to the door so it didn't drag the ground. Without tape it would snag on the floor when trying to shut the door. All in all it does stop the drafts.

Good Product for low clearance doors.
This product works very well. It is light so the door is still very easy to open but it also provides a good seal. I got it for my spare bedrooms so I could close off the vents and save on my electric bill. I have noticed an increase in the temperature in the hall way outside the bedrooms since install this product. Also, the draft guard was easy and simple to install.

Didn't stay in place
I really wanted this to work for me. It was the perfect answer, I thought. But the foam inside shifts too much and after only a couple times opening and closing the door it just wouldn't stay on properly. I tried to adjust and move it around, but it became a chore to bend over and fix it every time I needed to open and close my main door. NOT a good option for a high traffic area. The threads were poorly sewn, and some were very loose. I liked the chocolate colour.

Three Stars
It would be better if the item hugged the bottom of the door better.
