The red flag let loose and I had to duct tape it to stay on. ???? Otherwise it's a great mailbox.

Neighborhood juvenile delinquents destroyed my old mailbox.
A while back I noticed my mailbox had been knocked over. I propped it up knowing soon I’d need to replace it. A few days later it was completely destroyed! I ordered this mailbox intending to install it on a new 4x4 post. Well I opted for a metal post I purchased at the local hardware store. It was easier to mount on the metal post that came with a mounting bracket.Overall good quality mailbox that was delivered fast. I’m always amazed at Amazons swift deliveries.

Color is dark charcoal gray! Flag is plastic. Just what I needed. Since they run over mine about every 2 years!

Solide et fonctionnel
J’avais besoin d’une boîte aux lettres de ce format plus résistante que mes anciennes en plastique. Chaque hiver la déneigeuse me brisait aux moins deux boîtes aux lettres en plastique. Cette nouvelle plus solide semble résister aux assauts de la déneigeuse. Le seul bris subit a été au niveau des pentures en plastiques. Je les ai remplacé par deux petits écrous en métal et tout fonctionne très bien le problème est réglé.
