This has a paper backing, and isn't too expensive. We only needed about a foot, so I have been letting my kids decorate all sorts of things. It tends to fold across imperfections vs just bending. As for the intended purpose? It has kept birds off my mailbox since I applied it and got have not had to reapply.

I'm not sure this is any better than using a sheet of aluminum foil which I've found works, much cheaper and lesstedious to apply...Both look terrible but at least the foil isn't going to permanently get stuck on my windows...I have literally covered every visible spot on many windows trying to deter a male bird thinking he's found his mate in my windows... looking at his reflection and pecking away all day the entire front of my house...This product works, it's just expensive, a tedious process to keep cutting narrow strips and peeling off the backing, placing strips (MANY of them) all over the windows...It works if you use enough if it but I'm very concerned my windows will heat up in summer sunshine and melt that adhesive onto my window, making it impossible to remove. It sticks very well and I tried toremove a strip to see what would happen but it's not sunny today and not hot outside......It's a good idea but the jury is still out whether this is an actually good solution for a seasonal problem....I spent hours cutting and pasting, deterring one bird, from one window at a time...My house looks like a circus with all these strips everywhere...It sticks to glass but not sure what else it will stick to and not sure if the bird is deterred by the pattern of these strips or simply because he can't see his reflection very well anymore.

I have a 12 pound cockapoo. In the past few years there have been various hawks "surveying" our neighborhood. They've perched themselves on my roof, the roof of our backyard shed and on trees in my and my neighbors' yards (plus the roof of my next door neighbor's car!). I bought this product to keep my fur baby safe (plus I'm always outside with her just in case). I've attached 2 strips of this product to all sides of the shed, and wrapped one strip around each of the 4 trees in my backyard and the one tree in my front yard. It's worked great to keep the hawks at bey since I did this in late July of 2020. It's stayed on through rain storms, snow storms and 50 mile per hour winds. I highly recommend this repellent flash tape.

DID NOT WORK TO AVOID THE PIGEONS LANDING ON MY NEIGHBOR'S WINDOW EDGEWENT IN THE GARAGE AND DID NOT RETURN IT FOR A REFUNDNO REFUND MY NEIGHBOR SITTEN ON THE TAPE MUCH TOO LONG INTO THE GARBAGE IT GOES

It is not a thick tape but it did adhere to my window well. Cannot say how it would work on any other surface. We get a lot of wind, stayed on til I removed it. Prism is very nice. Not sure if it deflects animals and birds yet, didn’t care for look on my windows so removed after a few days.

I like that this is actually tape with adhesive. I’ve bought other bird scare tape that was just a ribbon. This bird scare hasn’t been tested by me yet, because the swallows haven’t come to nest yet. I know it will work though because it’s very shiny. I have put several pieces across the mailbox which is on a post. I put another piece above the front door, where previously they tried to build. These particular birds are very nasty and will fly right at you, two at a time. This tape should put a stop to my problem.

I bought this reflecting/motion detector tape for my dock/deck. The birds are bad about messing up my dock/deck and the reflecting tape has made a difference.

Pretty flimsy and too thin and lacking quality tape glue resulting in poor adhesion . Did not work to deter the pigeons, who actually found it to be very handy to take home with them.
