Best wood finish, long lasting and durable
I have had wood decks, or wood beams like those in the picture most of my 69 years. I live in central WA ST., in the foot hills of the Cascades mountains. It is cold and snowy in the winter, 100+ in summer. I have used Sun Frog, Thompsons water seal, and a few others, but TWP is better for a few reasons. 1) You can reapply without having to strip off the old finish. 2) Lasts several years even when exposed to the sun, or often wet. 3) It is really easy to apply with brush, rag, sponge, stain applicators, as it is thin. A thin coat is recommended, so a gallon goes a long way, especially when reapplying. 4) you can pressure wash to remove dust, grime. Bottom line, goes the farthest, easy application, wears like iron, and looks fantastic. All the pictures are of the 1530 natural.

Great Stain
While a little pricey, I find TWP to be better than most competitors

Great product
All decking coatings will fade or peal (I live in New York!). The issue is how bad and what do you have to due to recoat. I have been very happy with this product. Took two coats to fully seal the 1st time (make sure you follow directions to a T as if you do not wipe off excess it will dry to a slippery ice ring). Originally, coating lasted about 3 years and appears to just fade away which should make a recoat easy ( no stripping or scraping needed, maybe just a quick wash). This order is for the recoat.

No real guidance before you buy
It was very confusing to find the right product to use. Like most of these products they sound like you could use them on a pre-stained deck until you get the product and read the tiny print that states they should be used on Raw or stripped wood. My deck was beautifully done back in November and I’ve been trying to find the right product to add another coat to protect it. Apparently you should use the same type and brand, but I can’t get that information. So I had to return this product because it was clear it was the wrong one. This is the Second one I have returned because they want you to strip the wood back. This one had great ratings.

Looks great, repels water well
I bought this to stain an Adirondack chair I built using cedar deck boards. I debated not staining it at all and just leaving it natural but in the end I wanted it to last, since it took me about a week to build, and it was a gift for my mom for her birthday. I found TWP from some online reviews and went with Natural over "clear" because I wanted the UV protection. It went on easily with a $2 foam brush and after drying for a couple days I squirted the chair with the hose and it beaded right up. And it looks great too.

Very good wood deck treatment product
I have been using this product for 9 years on a treated wood deck. I find that it lives up to the billing of being able to last two years before re-coating. It provides excellent water penetration protection and maintains its color with minimal fading between re-coating applications. As long as this product is available I intend to continue using on my treated wood deck.

Nice finish
This appears to be a quality penetrating wood preservative. It goes on easily and beads up water when cured.
