Good stain. It's meant for shingles, but we use it on our deck. It lasts for approx 4 years on horizontal surfaces in sunny areas in the South. High traffic areas do show wear after two seasons, though. 8+ years (possibly quite a few more- haven't had to restain yet) on vertical areas (eg fence stiles), particularly if in the shade.It fades, but does not peel as it fails. Just use deck cleaner, pressure wash, brighten, and you're ready to stain again.My only gripe is the high price.

Used this product for years on my gazebo cedar shake roof.

Used it over a year ago on cedar, and there is no sign of greying.
