Larry Gets Lost in Portland

We loved “Larry Lost in DC” so much that we have started collecting the series for each city we visit. I love the history notes included in each of Larry’s lost destinations.

Read this with my 5 yo before our trip to Boston and he loved recognizing the different sites we had read about.

Who doesn't like books about places you have gone or want to go to? The kids were exciting - hey, we have been there! Get the book.

I got this book as a baby gift for friends that live in Boston. It's super cute and I love that it highlights important historical places throughout the city with a whimsical and fun storyline. It is a nice addition to a child's library that allows them to read about places before they visit. The story is also easy to follow and cute, with great detailed illustrations. The Larry Gets Lost series is one of my favorites! I will continue to purchase these and look forward to seeing more cities throughout the collection.

We bought this before vacation, it was nice it got our son excited about things he might get to see or do. And then he liked reading it at night while we were there to point out what we saw that day or might see the next. Cute story, and lots of little facts about the city even for grownups.

Every time we travel to a new destination with our son we check to see if there is a Larry book. He loves this book and it will be fun reading it when he is older (currently 20 months) and telling him about the sights that he saw when he visited Boston as a baby.

Great books. Good story’s, thourough information and kept my daughter interested! Well written for smaller children, and great historical information for a little older! Happy for this purchase.

My 4 yr old grandson absolutely loved it! He's a Boston Commuter, he treks all over the city with his Mum. He was delighted to see the Green Line smack in the middle of the book! The pages come alive with great illustrations of every day sites in the City. He shouted out "The Zakim"! Nicely done!
