Great Set of Cookware!
Okay, I wanted to wait for one complete camping season to be done before writing my review. We are very happy with this cookware set. We transitioned down to a T@B 320 camper so space is at a premium and were looking for a way to consolidate or cookware. After doing the research we settled on the GSI Base Camper set. Usually when my wife and I camp we have other family members come along so we needed the capacity of the larger pots and skillet so that dictated the size. We don't use this set over an open fire but use either the stove with the camper or a Coleman stove. These nest into a nice compact storage solution that hasn't opened up when traveling. They've been used at least 50 times and the surface still looks like the day they came out of the box. They are easy to clean with minimal water usage. You do have to use plastic or non abrasive utensils and cleaning pads but I purchased the handy accessory kit that provides those items. We've had no issues with the handle although I would recommend purchasing another so you can have a pot and skillet going at the same time and not switch out the handle. The drain holes set in the lid of the larger pot are handy. Every thing about the set so far seems well built and problem free so far. To be honest I could see the handles becoming an issue down the road since they do have plastic in some of the construction and they are by a heat source if you're not careful. However I would just buy a new handle at this point. Here's to waiting for the snow to melt and season two with the Pinnacle Base Camper Cook Set!

Durable
Used this set for the entire season...great product, simple but great! i use wooden products to cook on this set and it works great. The non stick surface is really non stick! the handle gets hot to the touch, depending how high your flame is. I also like how i can pack things inside the set so i know it will always be there. Overall great set, worth its money for sure.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
I had used a GSI Base Camper set for years and years and years but it was a smaller, older version and I was looking for a larger pot. This set met my expectations and MORE! My other set is still fully functional and usable as an individual backpacker and the no stick surface has held up for years. I was afraid that over time GSI might have tried to change, go cheap, or otherwise manipulate their pots but they have not as of yet! I have only used this set on one trip so far and it has held up to the standards of my old GSI pot. The added benefits of a cutting board and a strainer lid are bonuses although I do not care for plastic lids as I cannot use the pot with lid on a fire. The only way to cook with a lid is to use the Frypan/Plate to keep the ashes out and heat in. With this said, I wish they only had ONE plastic strainer lid and TWO Frypan/Plates which would make totally more sense and make the kit even more versatile to the outdoorsman/backpacker who "MAY" need to use fire if stove malfunctions or fuel runs out. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this cook kit and dump one of the strainer lids to add another frypan/plate down the line.

Good but not great
IIRC this set is a little pricey. Everything works fine and fits together great. It's not so portable for hiking, unless you want to dedicate enough space for a pot big enough to make a family of 5 spaghetti, for some reason. The real flaw here is -- when using the skillet, at least, the handle gets so hot you get burned without finding a towel or gloves. Not really a fan of finding a towel to grab the handle for a skillet of eggs on the side of a mountain because the manufacturer didn't care enough to mitigate the mechanics of heat transfer with better design. That said - you could just use a towel.

Great for car camping with limited space
This set of pots and pans are high quality and light. I am taking up car camping and don't have much space in my car hence since all pieces nest together they are perfect for my needs. The handle is easy to attach and very secure. The cutting board is very thin but hey, it works and again doesn't take up extra space. I love it that they are non-stick; I certainly don't want to have to scour pots and pans while out car camping.

Camp Kitchen Essential
I want to be able to cook a decent amount of food for friends/family when camping, so I wanted a pot and pan set that could handle higher volumes of food. This works great and can cover most cooking needs. It is particularly nice that it packs up and nests all together.I use this with my Yakima OpenRange, and it fits neatly in there. I can even get a cast iron pan that this will fit in, to help further reduce space use.Great option for the camp kitchen

Perfect for two people in the car or on the trail.
I bought this to have as a two person cook set for my fiance and myself. We have used this set for both car camping and backpacking and it it big enough/small enough for each. With two different size pots and a fry pan you can easily make extravagant meals while on the trail or just keep it simple. The pan is large enough to make pancakes and the built in strainers on the lids make boiling noodles a breeze. The non stick surface makes these very easy to clean and they all nest very nicely for an easy compact storage. While some might find this to large and heavy backpacking, with two people, the added weight is barely noticed. If you plan on cooking for more than 2 I would advise purchasing a larger set unless you all eat small portions. In addition, I would recommend the GSI Outdoors Crossover Kitchen Kit set as it goes perfectly with this cook set.GSI Outdoors Crossover Kitchen Kit

excellent for camping!
these are absolutely fantastic. i used them all weekend camping and was so damn happy. the non-stick works awesome! they are extremely light. what i did was use the pots to hold soapy water and rinsed in the case and everything cleaned up nicely. they are not designed for exteme heat but i used them on my grill and over a campfire (i put tinfoil on the grate to prevent marking) and the way they fit together is just fantastic.the handle WILL GET HOT and just a hot pad might not be enough. ONLY complaint and there is not a lot the company can do there.
