Could not be better!
I ordered these two items because I had foot and ankle surgery, and can not bear weight on the leg nor get the surgical wounds wet for months. The knee cover is soft and somewhat padded and fits perfectly on the knee pad of the scooter I ordered. As the headline states, I couldn't ask for more and am very pleased with my choice. The watertight cast and bandage protector is exactly what it says it is. It is easy to slip on over the cast, though early in the recovery period, I needed help pulling the relatively tight (has to be somewhat tight to seal around the leg to keep water out) "rubber" gasket up over the cast (the black part in the picture). That is mostly because at first, you are still in pain or tender from the surgery. After pain subsides, it is easy to maneuver by yourself. The clear plastic sleeve glides easily over the cast and has plenty of room for a large, bulky bandage or cast. The black sealing gasket is soft and pliable, but still the necessary tight fit to keep cast dry. It works perfectly, though it is important to know that I do not put leg into the shower with me (and definitely not in the bathtub), but instead I sit on shower chair and leave leg hanging out over the edge of tub. So water is splashed on it or can roll down leg, but the seal remains tight enough to keep water out. If you have a standing shower (no tub), I don't have experience to speak to how well it would work, should you have shower water pouring down on the leg. However, based on the fit, I would imagine that it would work....if that were my choice, I have enough confidence in the product that I would let it get wet in the shower. I can't speak to dunking it in a bathtub....maybe that's worth experimenting in tub before you have surgery. While the black seal is necessarily tight, I emphasize that it is not uncomfortable, but I guess that would depend upon the circumference of your leg where the seal needs to go to cover the cast. I bring it up over my knee....I am average build, not small but not large either. I would definitely try it, no matter your size. It is a pleasure to be able to give such a positive review when you are very satisfied with the product that you spent money on. Amazon Prime got it to me within a day of ordering.

Essential item if you want to shower with ease post-surgery
As others have written, I was dubious about this cast and bandage protector really being water-tight, but I am so pleased with this purchase! It slides on easily and the elastic at top is not binding, yet it does keep the water out. Since I am 5'4" tall, it goes well beyond my knee, and the foot section is huge for my size 7 foot, but it does not create a problem. The plastic is opaque, malleable, yet sturdy. I wish I had known about this protector before my first foot surgery! It truly makes a cumbersome situation much easier. Highly recommend. As for the scooter lambskin, I had one from my previous foot surgery, but if I had not had one, I would surely have used this one. It makes a big difference in your comfort level. These are two items that I would label as "essential."

Great deal foe two essential items if you’ve broken your foot!
Unfortunately I had a horrible ski accident, snowboarder decided to use me as a stop to break his out of control descent. Two broken ribs and a fractured ankle with two torn ligaments later, I later in the hospital bed thinking of ways to make my home life easier once I was discharged. Crutches weren’t an option so a one legged scooter was the way to go. Found this super comfy pad which also makes it a bit more sturdy to rest my casted leg on. Nice product, wish it had a little more padding but still great. It also comes with a leg cover foe the shower which is unbelievable well made, absolutely no water leaks in and is super comfortable in the shower. Great deal for these two essential items you’ll need during home care and recovery.

TWO IMPORTANT PIECES OF EQUIPMENT FOR AFTER SURGERY!
When I learned I had to have foot surgery, I had no idea what to expect or what I needed after. I DID know that I HAD to have a shower and the ‘cast cover’ is indeed waterproof with a nice wide rubber seal at the thigh. Additionally thought the sheepskin cover for my knee roller looked like it might be comfortable. BINGO! This was a dual hit and both work perfectly...the sheepskin cover is tight over my extra deep knee pad but it stays in place and has been a Godsend for the comfort it provides as I roll along. And I could probably get in the hot tub with that waterproof ‘leg bag’ but I am going to wait another week. GREAT VALUE, GREAT PRODUCTS!

Highly recommend the waterproof leg cover
I wish the 2 items could be rated separately. The pad cover is fine but nothing spectacular. I probably wouldn't even bother writing a review for just that but the waterproof leg cover is fantastic. I had ankle surgery & my left leg is in a cast/splint that cannot get wet. Well, the leg cover does the trick. I took a shower wearing that cover & my leg came out of that shower 100% dry. You will have to be cautious while wearing it as it does get slippery on the wet shower floor. The 4 stars are for both items. I would give 3 stars to the pad cover & 5 stars for the leg cover.

Great price for Watertight cast protector & got the sheepskin cover to go on scooter!
Was looking for a protector for my cast and came across this package deal. Was a great deal for both of them and honestly was cheaper then other protectors by themselves. I probably wouldn’t of bought the sheepskin but glad I have it. It has made a difference to my knee scooter just a little more padding goes a long way after a days work! Both products are great and of good quality. I have used the cast protector for about 2 weeks now and have not had one drop of water get into it. I had used the trash bag and rubber band until this arrived and that was a nightmare. Now it is easy slip on and no worries of leaking. A complete game changer!!Shipping was fast as usual for prime and would recommend and buy from this seller again!
