Look good but not the best quality
I had high hopes when I purchased these tuners. First off, I want to share that these tuners were being used on a 90's original MIJ Telecaster so some of the issues might be due to compatibility. These are vintage style locking tuners that were replacing the original tuners. I wanted to go with locking tuners because of all I had read on the the internet about the ease of use and speed to change strings. The new tuners looked great and kept part of that vintage feel.First issue: Ferrules too small. The holes on my Telecaster were too big so I needed to wrap the ferrules with duct tape to get them to fit snug. Not a big issue and they fit snug after about two wraps.Second issue: Peg to nut angle. Locking tuners are supposed to have little winding on the peg making them quick to change. The G string would pop out of the nut at times due to the low angle. This is a common issue since the peghead on Fender guitars is flat. (that is why there are string trees on tele and strat) You will need to wind the G string a little to get an angle great enough to keep it in the slot.Third issue: Screws were too small. Needed to fill the screw holes with the old toothpick and wood glue trick so I could use the screws that came with the new tuners. Not a big deal but added to everything else....Forth issue: Tight keys. Half of the tuning keys were smooth and turned with little effort. The low E, A and D string tuning keys were very tight under tension and it made it hard to tune the guitar.Since this was a "want to" vs a "had to" tuning key upgrade I just got frustrated and put the old tuning keys back on the guitar before a weekend gig. Disappointing because when I got the keys on the guitar, they really looked nice. When you spend $26 for a set of tuning keys you have to assume there are going to have to be some compromises.BTW, the locking feature worked great. I like the feature and may just wait until I build that partscaster down the road. Now, if I could just fix the pickup howl from the used MIM telecaster I just bought. Unfortunately, I discovered it during a gig but that's another story..... Maybe new pickups....

Good honest company.
Excellent company to do business with. The people are quick to respond and very honest in their dealings. You don’t come across deals like these locking tuners too often, the bushings were a little thin but the company worked things out promptly with me.I was happy enough I came back and bought another set. The tuners worked out with fender brand bushings, I do hope the bushings on the next set are a little bigger around (>8.3mm).Thank you for your honest business!

A little stiff
Good for the price. No major problems. They are a little stiff to turn, but hold tune pretty well. String changing is fast, which is probably the main advantage over other cheap tuners.

Quality product
These replace the Kluson tuners Fender vintage, or vintage reproduction guitars have. They fit well without any modification, feel well made, but tuning is very stiff, if there’s a way to lubricate them I’d recommend that. They’re reliable, and far less frustrating than the Kluson split shaft model. I recommend.

Decent enough!
Drop in replacement for Squier Indonesian made Classic Vibe '70s Strat. Quality seems close enough to tuning machines I've paid double for. Wasn't sure if they'd fit so I didn't want to spend $80 on a better set for a beater guitar.

Worth the Price!!!
Fit my squier Classic Vibe White Tele perfectly. They do exactly what I need, which is hold the tune.Their are a bit tight when it comes to turning the keys, but its a small inconvenience. These are perfect for updating a "parts caster". Gave them 4 stars, but I bought a second pair for another one of my squiers

Good turners, perfect fit, can't beet the price.
The locking tuners are every bit as good as fender locking tuners. Easy to install on a squire guitar, as if they were built for it. Can't beat the price unless they were free.

Great tuners, but needs some easy mods to fit////Excelente maquinaria, necesita mods sencillas
They come in a small box. Including tuners, ferules and screws (on a small plastic bag)So, the main issue I encountered was that the ferules didn't fit on the tuners (I ordered them for a Squier Telecaster). The ferules do fit on the guitar, but not on the tuners. I saw here a review from a user named "simmaxmarc" which mentioned to drill the ferules to slightly open them (thank you for that, it was a great and useful recommendation) I did that and they fitted perfectly.I tried them and the guitar remained in tune perfectly.Overall it was an easy installation, just bare in mind that the ferules don't quite fit and if you have a drill with the proper tip, you'll be able to do the whole install & modifications in no more than 60mins.I tried using some ferules from some Fender tuners and they wouldn't fit, when buying this item, contemplate the idea of the drill with the proper tip for the installation. It isn't top quality, but they do work.If you are able to do the drill thing and are ok with the fact that the materials aren't great, go for them. If not, probably check for higher quality ones.4 out of 5 stars because of the mod in order for them to work.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Llegaron completos, en una caja con tuners, ferules y tornillos en una bolsa de plástico pequeña.

I should have spent more and got myself better tuners.
I should have spent more and got myself better tuners. It sure wasn't worth changing my stock standard tuners for these.

Good tuners, but *not* an easy install, some quality control issues
I bought these to upgrade a Jay Turser Vintage Series guitar, which has vintage-style tuners with 5.8mm tuning posts. At least with this guitar, the install was FAR from easy. First, the included ferrules were just a bit bigger than the originals, about a 0.3mm difference, but required me to carefully ream out the holes on the top side of the headstock to get them to tap gently with a hammer. Next, could I get the tuners to slip through those ferrules?? Nope! Not a single one would fit through the ferrule. Bad Q/C here, they simply aren't machined accurately enough. Pretty lame when you can't pop a tuner through the ferrules they're made for. I had to use a drill to slightly open the ferrule holes on the inside until the tuning posts could slip through. Then, I was able to finally get them installed. A 20 minute job took more than an hour.
