Don't know if I would buy it again!
It's an ok bag! The design needs to be improved though. I ended up cutting the threads at both end flaps of the cover to detach them from the short handle to prevent them from ripping the canvas. If the shoulder strap is shorten, the shoulder's pad can't slide through the buckle and be relocated to the center of the strap. I had to cut and throw it away, in case I want to wear the bag high so I can reach the camera easily. The canvas material seems to be of good quality, but the metal hardware is really cheap. The side pockets don't have good enclosures, like zippers or buckles, so your stuff can easily fall out if the bag tips over, which it can without any feet. It doesn't seem the magnet enclosures are good enough for this application. The workmanship of the simulated leather is poor also. One of the front buckle has to be removed and reset! Don't know if I would buy it again!

Nice bag, but not for me...
Nice bag, just wasn't large enough for all of my equipment. It held the camera, an extra lens, flash and 2 laptops ok. But when I began adding the laptop charging cords, extra batteries, portable hard drives, etc... it quickly ran out of room.

Heavy bag that scratches with ease
I'd purchased this bag for a new Fuji GFX100. The Astoria accommodates the large camera with ease, but the top flap design leaves much to be desired when it comes to the requirement for quick access to its interior. The heavy, waxed canvas is very stiff, and while on one's shoulder, one has to wrestle with the top in order to open it wide enough for camera removal/replacement. In addition, the waxed canvass scratches with ease, and while those imperfections can usually be removed with a heat gun, it's hardly worth the effort. The bag now occupies a space on a shelf and is no longer in use, as it has been replaced by a more efficient and easier to use, other manufacturer's leather camera bag.

Love this bag! It was worth the cost of admission. Just picked up a Ona Astoria camera bag and thought I'd post a few photos and some quick general impressions. Overall the bag is very well made and has more room than I anticipated (which is a good thing). I am able to carry all my current Nikon gear but I do wish the dividers were about 2 inches high to avoid any chance of my 70-200 bumping my camera when not attached.* Very well made, nicely designed and really comfortable shoulder strap.* The only Ona marking on the bag is inside the main compartment. The bag itself is very discrete.* Nikon D810 attached to a Nikon 70-200 VR II - barely fits inside the lip of the bag. It is a little snug but not too tight. (See photo)* Nikon D810 with Nikon 24-70 attached. This is where I wish the dividers were just a little taller. When the 70-200 VRII is next to it then the camera has a tendency to "bump into" it. (see photo)* Figured out a work around for the above mentioned problem. I took the spare inserts I had from the Astoria and attached them together - forming a nice removable barrier. (see photo)* Plenty of storage for cards and whatnot...* On the outer ends there are 2 pockets. I have my battery charger and spare battery in one. Both have small magnets to help keep them shut if needed.

Beautiful, well made and fits a lot of stuff!
I'm traveling a lot these days and I use my Astoria to carry my 14" laptop, my Canon DSLR with a Sigma 18-250mm lense attached, a separate EF 50mm lense inside its pouch, an EF-S 10-22mm lense also in its pouch, plus cases for my sunglasses and reading glasses, external DVD unit, point and shoot camera, some other cables... and a raincoat! Need I say more?I use it when I need to attend business meetings (minus all the camera gear of course) and when I'm going on a city walkabout to take pictures. I haven't tried it in rainy conditions as yet. While traveling, the luggage sleeve is extremely useful. The only thing I'd add to the design is a secure way to lock it.

Excellent Bag. Fits more than it looks like It would.
This bag is excellent. The first messenger photo bag that I comfortably fit gear and computer equipment in together. The design is perfect. Protects my gear and still has large side pockets to grab stuff quickly without opening the main flap. No real complaints. Not the smallest bag, but I only use it when I need to carry more gear.
