Internet Password Logbook - Pattern Edition: Keep track of: usernames, passwords, web addresses in one easy & organized location

Like a lot of people I was using the same 3 or 4 passwords for everything. It was easy to remember but a disaster waiting to happen. I decided to get serious and start protecting myself with unique passwords and decided if I'm going to go through all that trouble why not "airlock" it by keeping it on paper rather than on a spreadsheet or app. I started with a small blank journal. that worked fine but the problem was i would just write them in as i went. They weren't in any kind of order. so say I need to look up my Amazon password. I'd basically have to thumb through every page of the journal until I found it. I then got the idea to use and old school address book but they are nearly impossible to find in the office supply stores and when you do find them they are pricey. One day I thought to look on Amazon for an address book and when i did I noticed that Password books were actually a thing! This book is great. It's easy to stay organized and has space to make changes. It is small and easy to hide if you choose to stash it somewhere. I know the dimensions are listed but just to help you visualize it's the same length and height as my Samsung S9 in an otterbox defender case, and maybe 1/2" wider

Excellent format! Most password books have just a single line for entering the password for a each website, but I change my passwords from time to time and like a record of my changes. This book has lines for 5 password entries per website (Date/Password:), and 3 websites per page. The pages are alphabetically tabbed (like an address book) which makes it easy to flip through quickly. In addition, the book is hardcover with a sewn binding and has held up well to 5 months of regular use including trips in my purse. There are extra sections I appreciate: PW Tips (some new to me), Software Licenses Record, Settings Records (i.e., Broadband Modem, Router/Wireless Access Point, WAN, LAN and WIRELESS Settings), and several pages for NOTES. This handy book is going to last me a long time so I won’t need to buy another one for myself anytime soon, but I’m planning on giving it as a stocking stuffer to several friends.

This is nice and compact without being too small. It seems to be a good quality b/c I refer to passwords in it on a very regular basis. And it doesn't SCREAM PASSWORD PROTECTOR. It looks like a small personal phone book (do people still have those?) or an agenda. I could never understand a password protector that said PASSWORD PROTECTOR across the face of it. I've used other online and electronic protectors but I like that I can throw this in my purse if need be and no charging or OTHER password needed to open THIS password protector. OY life gets complicated.

I love this book. It was the only one I could find that provided many spaces for passwords for each site, which is convenient when you have to change a password but can't change it to a previous one or want to see your history. My only gripe is that there's no room for more pages. My CD section especially is almost full. I think this would work better as a sort of binder-ish type thing with extra pages sold separately. Not only could you add pages, but you could also reorder them if you wish. Otherwise, it's nearly perfect. It's the perfect size to fit in your purse when you have to take it somewhere and it's pleasant to hold.

This book will save your brain cells. Got this book and use it religiously ... inked in the web addresses and logins and penciled in the passwords. I use individual 15 - 20 digit passwords. Several months later lost the drive and tech could not recover the information. No sweat ... it was sitting the safe!!! Blessing.

I bought this password book as a present for Christmas, but I liked it so much, I went back and bought another one for myself. Love that after I took the sleeve off the cover, it looks like any ordinary notebook. Hiding in plain sight. Now, I can keep things organized in alphabetical order. The lines are not too crammed together, and there are five lines of passwords for each entry in case we change the passwords. Great, because not all password books share that feature. In addition to the alphabetical tabs, the book includes sections in the back for logging information on software (license number, subscription fees, etc.), broadband modem settings, router settings, and other notes.

The book is just ok. It arrived with the outer jacket (the black jacket with the white words on it) totally on the back of the book on the back cover. So when I opened the book the book was actually upside down. The ISBN number label was in the front outside of the book. The whole thing was just wrong. I had to "operate" on the book by removing the sticky ISBN label (which torn apart in the process). Then carefully remove the snug fitting black jacket and orientate it from the back cover of the book to the front cover of the book before I presented it to my husband. This was a lot of WORK for a new book. I just do not know what happened-perhaps it was made on a Friday. If it were not for that I would give it a 4 star. It is a bit smaller than I had anticipated, but that is my issue not the books. Do note---once a person REMOVES the black jacket with the white words on it, there is nothing on the book anywhere that tells the front from the back of the book (unless your ISBN sticker was correctly placed). It is a non-descript book which can be good or bad. Perhaps good if you are hiding your passwords.

I'm glad to have bought it & even more glad to have it. It's definitely needed to help with organization of usernames & passwords.
