Texas Pete Hot Sauce, 6 Ounce

If you are sharing with a hot sauce lover than get two or a larger one. Good for one person.

What can I say about Texas Pete other than I absolutely adore this stuff, I think everyone ought to have a bottle around, it’s the perfect hot, but not HOT, hot sauce, tastes delicious…and it’s something I kinda grew up with in North Carolina. Unfortunately, and I don’t know how to help you to avoid this, but there are some bunk bottles floating around out there, mixing freely with the good stuff it would seem and it appears to be a total toss up what you might receive or even find in store in person. I’ve noticed in the past year, that some bottles of this stuff I’ve picked up- which looked practically identical save for the ingredients, are a watered down version of the real deal- quite literally. So I’ll add this- Pete is amazing but not sure what’s going on over there, but be sure to check the ingredients label before you buy if you can (or when you receive it). The only ingredients should be peppers, vinegar and salt. That’s it. If you see water in the ingredients list, you got one of these weird watered down versions of Pete and that stuff is no Bueno.

Texas Pete is a superb general-use hot sauce, much better than the previous one I used which tasted mostly of vinegar. However, one of the most impressive things about this hot sauce is the BOTTLE it comes in. Apparently the folks at TP know there is no such thing as a minor detail. The lid dispenses exactly one drop at a time unless shaken. Also, the lid has a small gap below the opening to allow easy opening with a finger nail or just a finger, yet it will not come open by accident.9/10 for the hot sauce, 11/10 for not forgetting about the little things.

I don't care what other think, I love this hot sauce. My local grocery store stopped carrying it. Came same day from a store close to home, but farther than I'd like to travel. Very convenient.

Great flavor as always, however; I wish there were other packaging options. Packets and dipping cups are expensive...the price for the dust version is ridiculous. Why can I get 50 packets for $7, 200 dipping cups for $14, the dust for $20 or a 2 ct. of "drop the bottle twice and it's gone" Texas Pete hot sauce. The bottles need a stronger flip cap for sure... My floor and baseboards have eaten more sauce than I have :(

This is not available near me in Las Vegas. Great price and fast shipping.

I wouldn’t call this hot sauce spicy but the flavor is awesome. A nice vinegary every day kind of sauce. Just delicious!
