Great shoe for a lace up
If you don’t mind lace up your shoes, this shoe is amazing when it comes to comfort and especially slip proof. I work in a restaurant and I feel confident walking on wet floors. My feet start to get a little tired after 12 hours, but I think that’s a great sign of a good shoe.

These are my go to work shoes in the food industry
I’ve worked industrial kitchens for almost 20 years. I’m on my 7th pair of this exact style in about 8 years. I like the consistent make of this particular style because I’m very picky. Change in shoe support can knock me out of work and requires me to go to PT to be able to work again. I’m on my feet over 10 hours a day in them and they last me a year or more depending on how much weight I’m carrying. I’m at my largest right now and these shoes allow me to work all day without leg pain. I initially bought them to replace the sketchers rocker slip resistant shoe that was discontinued. My work paid for these because they were from shoes for crews which is an authorized work shoe at my job. I bought a pair of Hoka work shoes that cost about double of these. While the Hoka is a great shoe and my preference away from work, the S4C shoe is more sturdy and supportive at a reasonable price. I will buy them until they no longer offer this style.

If I could give 0 stars I would
First thing, these are nothing like Shape Ups. I tried these shoes for a week, hoping they’d eventually break in and fit comfortably but nope. (For context, I work in a shipping warehouse with concrete floors)To start with, these shoes might not feel heavy when they’re in your hand, but once you put them on your feet, you can immediately feel the weight.Secondly, the insole of these shoes are extremely hard. I’ve tried several gel insoles, but nothing has worked to reduce the feeling that the insoles are made of concrete. Also, the first day of trying to break these shoes in, towards the end of my 9 hour shift, I actually experienced knee pain, which I have never had before, and I could definitely know it was from these shoes. Also, if you have a job that requires heavy lifting, DO NOT WEAR THESE!! We had a bunch of heavy boxes today, and thanks to these hard, heavy shoes, I actually experienced lower back pain. The pain went away once I switched back to wearing my normal shoes. In my opinion, these shoes are not anywhere worth the price, and except for the design, they are in no way comparable to the sketcher Shape Ups and have to be the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever had the misfortune of wearing.I’m going to try my luck with some cheaper brands that are similar in design, and hopefully those will actually work out better.

No, I recommend this shoe.
I don't recommend this type of footwear. It's actually so tiring. Your feet feel like strangers. You don't walk them in a comfortable position. At the end of a couple of hours in motion. Your feet hurt and your toes fall asleep. .my opposition.and recommendation.
