After three weeks on constant bashing the truck has held up very good. Lots of crashes and rolls and it's still in one piece with a 12 year old at the controls.We upgraded to a 2S LiPo battery (w/ a low voltage alarm) and rebuilt the shocks with better oil to improve the truck's handling. It's the perfect starter RTR kit.

For the price, you can't beat this truck. Very durable, but be warned, ANY hobby grade rc will eventually break something, but parts are available and can be fixed. Yesterday, my son let it roll off of a ledge at the skatepark, it fell 20 feet onto concrete, and it drove away without a scratch.

Bought 2 of these for my 5. & 8 year olds, I have 4nitro cars and these are the first electrics I owned, run them very hard, upgraded to the 4200 nimh battery's as the 1800's didn't last to long, so far no issues, And seem very durable, way better value than traxxas, you can get the brushless version for the same as the brushed on there's

A must buy for a R/C guy!
This is my first R/C truck since my MRC MT10M years ago. Fantastic truck. This thing jumps through my yard with grass that is 3.5 inches, and just keeps going. Anybody wondering (like I did) if it can handle a yard, it does with ease. A great starter (warning it is pretty dern fast out of the box for a beginner) R/C truck for anybody, it takes a beating and keeps on going. The plus side is you have HorizonHobby customer service and you cannot go wrong with them. From an R/C Airplane guy, this thing is a beast, and you can upgrade with ECX parts and some other outside vendors!
