High quality railing, good company to do business with.
Sturdy, attractive black aluminum railing. Great instructions and all installation bolts / screws included for wood or concrete. One issue which they cared for immediately, was they provided two posts which were for the top on the railing instead bnb of one for top and one for bottom ( hard to tell difference until you go to install, holes are in slightly different places). They shipped me a new bottom post quickly and apologized. Not a big deal. I suggested they might want to label them on the bottom...I would highly recommend this product.

Sturdy
When this arrived it was missing some of the hardware, most importunately all of the binding bolts, which hold the whole thing together. Nice people to deal with though, after calling, they had the missing parts to me in two days. I didn't use the anchor bolts supplied, mainly because they are so long, and would require drilling a hole in concrete almost 4" deep, also because they were not stainless steel. I used these:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L1J40U0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. They are rock solid, plus they are SS, and they only require a 1/4 X 1 7/8 inch hole. Actually you can use a shallower hole, but I like to have the deeper hole in case of a mistake, because once you have these anchors set, there's no way that I've found to remove them . With the deeper hole, you can drive the anchor below the surface of the concrete and patch over the hole. I also didn't use the rinky-dink plastic trim supplied. IMO the rails look just fine with out the trim. That said, I liked the rails so much, I bought three more of them. I bought the five step model even though I only have four steps, since my steps end in a three foot slab. I get extra rail length with the five step model.

Nicely made but either no quality inspection or not packaged well.
Overall the product is well made and easy to assemble. The box it was shipped in arrived flimsy but not damaged. When opened I found the bottom of the second rail extensively dinged on both sides. Since it was underneath and not exposed I have not yet returned it.. That said, I do plan to order a second InstantRail 5 step for the second level of a two-level patio. Since I have no way of reaching the seller directly unfortunately, I hope this message reaches them promptly as I plan to order another unit shortly and would appreciate improved packaging and/or better finish quality control. Ideally if they could send replacement part (bottom rail - see photo) with the second order that would be great. Thank you.

Great product - this is our second one
We installed a three-step InstantRail last winter on our front porch, and it works so well that we bought a five-step InstantRail for my in-laws front porch. Installed it yesterday, they think it is great. Took less than 90 minutes (we were drilling into cement steps). Read the instructions - you will need all the tools called for. It looks nice and is very sturdy. I'm sure it will last for many years. Definitely worth the price to avoid slipping, when dealing with Michigan snow and ice!

great easy installation, sturdy but some paint issues though
Added two of these on a five step stair to my deck. Installed on top of hollow composite decking. I added 2 X 8 lumber underneath to screw into. It seems to be attached solidly. My issues were with chipped paint on both rails at the ends. I may have to spray touch up to make it look "new". Both rails I bought had the same issues. Also the heads of pins that hold the cross pieces together were full of paint. This made inserting the allen wrenches difficult. If you do not get them inserted far enough, they will strip out because they are made of aluminum also. You have to force them in carefully on location. I had to tap them into the hex slots. Beware of this. Without these problems, I give them five stars.

Great product
My brother installed it for me and he was impressed by the quality and ease it was to put up . I read the reviews and made sure he had the correct tools. It looks great.

Great looking handrails at a good price
All items came as described. The only issue we had was one end of rail is slightly bent but wasn't too noticeable since it was close to wall. The only other advice I would give is what another person stated, to get a hammer drill if you are installing on concrete. It was next to impossible using a regular drill even with drill bits for concrete. We purchased a craftsman hammer drill from Lowe’s for $49. WELL worth the money!! Definite would buy again. We love them😊

The anchors don’t work on cast cement steps.
They arrived before the projected date. All the parts were there, and assembleming them was no problem. Installing them on the stairs was pretty straight forward. The only problem I had was the anchor bolts didn’t work on the steps that had space below them. The threads didn’t go all the way up the shank of the anchor bolt. A trip to the hardware store took care of the problem.I’m very pleased with the railings, they look great, feel solid, and it’s easier to push snow off the steps.
