SicceMI MOUSE Compact Aquarium Pump, 82 GPH, for submerged use in freshwater and saltwater

Replaced the stock pump of the Marineland portrait 10G aquarium. It's more powerful yet very quiet, to the level that I could put the tank in the bedroom (except I won't).

Bought this for a custom acrylic nano tank. Works great and very quiet. Tank is less than 5 galllons if water, this pump has an adjustable flow which is extremely helpful. Would purchase again. Fyi, does not come with any attachments, one photo shows an attachment for different size of hose. No attachment, hence the 4 stars. Those are “optional” purchases, however, I couldn’t find them, but I didn’t look either lol. Had to use a smaller tube for the larger one to wrap around. Good thing I had some spare to use.

I purchased this pump about 2-3 years ago, and it has worked great since.It is used outside where it freezes in the winter. I don't bother to drain the pond, and I don't remove the pump.Every spring, I plug it in, and it goes to work for another year.My pond is kind of scummy, probably like yours. So, sometimes, I have to pull it out and give it a cleaning. (But I usually just run the hose nozzle up to it while its still in the water, and force the gunk out of it.)I do not take very good care of this pump, and it just keeps working anyway. What more could I ask?

Try as I may, I simply couldn't get 3/8" vinyl tubing to fit the intake on this pump. Soaked in hot water until it was nearly melted...without some device to permanently stretch it, it just wouldn't fit. 1/2" tubing was too large. The instructions inside it say the intake fits 12mm tubing. I'd say that's accurate: 3/8" is 9.5mm (too small) and 1/2" is 12.7mm (marginally too big). Sicce pumps are made in Italy, where tubing is readily available in metric sizes. I'm returning this and keeping the Sicce Micra because the 1/2" tubing fits it mark snuggly. Sicce pumps are the best...nice and quiet, never give me any trouble. I'd recommend using a hose clamp with the Mi Mouse and the Micra because the intakes are very short. One more thing I prefer about the Micra is that it has suction cups (the Mi Mouse doesn't). It's just a tiny bit bigger, but the suction cups make it more useful for my purpose (easy water changes in a nano aquarium). I also have a Sicce Silent 1.0 that I use to do water changes on my 17-gallon aquarium. Wouldn't trade my Sicce pumps for any other!

And then while doing maintenance on my fountain today, I unplugged the pump. Plugged it back in, noticed an issue, fixed it, replugged it... and the pump was dead.It was working like a champ up until now! I'm not even sure what happened. Really disappointed. I'll be rethinking my entire planted fountain project now.

Works very well on my small indoor fountain. It's just like the one that came with my Fountain originally. I liked it so much that I am ordering a backup one, which I hopefully won't need again for years down the road.

Still going strong after 5 years. Using it in a table top fountain at the low flow setting and clean it once a month or so. Our cats love to drink from this fountain. If this ever dies, I will buy another one. Great little pump!

Works great low noise. No problems at all, been working none stop for a year now. It's a cheap good buy.
