Amazing read. Finished the book in 2 days and haven't smoked a cigarrete since then. It's been 2 weeks now and I'm feeling great. no cravings, no bad mood, not eating more than before.I highly recommed this book to anyone out there wanting to stop smoking and even those who aren't trying.

Really does work!!
My husband and I both read this book, thought it couldn't hurt, right. Well, we have both quit smoking. No cravings , nothing. Was the easiest thing to do!!! Thank you Allen Carr!!

This book is amazing!I am sceptical of most of this sort of thing. I shouldn't have been; some things ARE as good as you hear they are, by recommendation. I WAS that sceptic but I had an open and inquisitive mind.... so...You need to want to quit. Do not bother if you are unsure as you'll set yourself up to fail; this book won't be the reason you fail - you will!I have to say, after 31 years of smoking and one failed (cold turkey) attempt, I was not looking forward to doing it again but wanted to quit, then a friend who'd smoked for 40 years mentioned this book and the rest - the rest being my smoking addiction - is history! It is THAT brilliant, and also, the contents of it THAT blooming obvious, too, when you read more and more... I kid you not. You'll find yourself agreeing with almost everything written and think how obvious it is, and latterly, how easy it becomes to see the obvious and deal with the habit or addition to nicotine. The book lays this bare in an easy to digest manner.It totally rewired my brain and taught me to understand the nicotine monster, and I'm now nearly 6 months quit! I do not fancy a cigarette whatsoever - can tolerate smokers and smoking no problem too, just that I have no desire to ever smoke again, and it was stupidly simple to get to that stage!I really really cannot recommend this enough and what is the most frustrating thing now is that those who asked me how I quit seem to be almost as sceptical as I was, yet they won't give it a go! The book is dirt cheap, can be read easily in a couple of days, and will help you quit but as I say, you HAVE to want to, first.Give it a go - nothing to lose at about £3.00 with postage, except a pretty disgusting habit that could be harming you!

Helps get rid of the monsters
I have smoked on and off for 45 years. Thanks to this book I have been a non-smoker since Labor Day. It has been great! Within a week my "Smokers Cough" disappeared completely. My wife said that she used to know where I was in Wal-Mart just by listening for my cough. Allen Carr was a five pack a day smoker until he became a non-smoker. I can't imagine anyone smoking 5 packs of cigarettes a day! I had all I could do to finish 1 pack a day. The book explains how to become a non-smoker without will power and with minimal withdrawal pains. He drums it into your subconscious that if you don't want to smoke it is easy to not do something that you don't want to do. He explains how to conquer the small monster called nicotine addiction in about 3 weeks and also to defeat the large monster which is your mind telling you that you must have a cigarette. The reason you won't need will power if you follow this book is because you will have enough aversion power to overcome your craving for a cigarette. You will understand that you can't smoke just one cigarette. If and when your desire for a cigarette occurs your subconscious mind will short circuit that thought. The longer you are a non-smoker the fewer times you will want a cigarette and the fewer triggers you will experience. Remember, this book, nor patches, gum, pills or whatever will help you stop smoking unless you WANT TO!!!Remember to read ALL of the book. Continue to smoke while you read the Book. Be totally committed to stop smoking and you will be successful and enjoy all of the benefits of being a non-smoker. Good Luck.
