Phocus - 3-Lens Bundle for iPhone 5 and 5s

It is a great expansion of the already capable iPhone 5 photo prowess. Like the Macro best of all.......Telephoto does very little to enhance distant photography. That was expected as it is sold as 2X.

My iphone fits so tightly that I had a very difficult time removing the phone. I actually thought I might damage the phone trying to remove it from the holster. For that reason, I have only used it twice. I don't dare put my phone back in again. It is well made and the lenses seem to be slightly helpful.

I used the lens system hiking in Mammoth for a week. The Macro Lens is absolutely amazing!!! The close up of the wildflowers were fantastic!!! I used the wide angle for pictures of lakes with mountain backdrops...it was able to take in almost the entire area my eye was seeing. The telephoto is excellent. if you use the telephoto with the zoom it is huge!! the pictures are all very clear.I could have sold several of these to people I met on the trail...they couldn't figure out what I was doing with my phone!!I wonder how many contacted amazon on my recommendation???Bottom line...this is a terrific set up...easy to carry...easy to use ....and amazing pictures. the IPHONE camera is great to begin with and this system just enhances it even more.Only suggestion I have is that when the phone is in the case you have to be careful that it doesn't slide out...a simple fix was to take a small piece of Velcro and adhere it in the case so there is some resistance if the phone starts to slide. I now have no problem with that issue.

The iphone 5s volume button is halfway covered. Makes it hard to turn down volume.

I am hopeless when it comes to taking good photos, even with the great camera on the iPhone 5. But this bundle is amazing. Incredibly easy to use, the case is snug so you don't worry the phone will slip out, but I had no problem removing my phone which includes a screen saver. The lenses are solid and well built, and they make taking great photos unbelievably easy. I compared the telephoto to a normal zoom and there was simply no comparison….the telephoto shot is a thousand times sharper. And the wide angle will be great for taking pictures of large groups or getting a whole room into a photo. When I went back to look at reviews I was surprised at some of the negative comments, especially for the folks who didn't realize two of the lenses come packaged together. This is an easy 5-star review from me……a novice photographer who wants it super easy to take MUCH better photos.

A bit of a waste. It works ok, but cumbersome to walk around with all those loose lenses, and you have to take your phone out of its case to fit the lenses case. Used it a couple of times, then gave it away...

When I received the Phocus, the box was marked as having only the Wide angle and Macro Lens. I contacted their customer service and they immediately sent me the Telephoto lens. Even after I discovered the Wide angle lens screws onto the Macro lens and I realized my mistake, they were very gracious and did not require me to return the extra lens. The product is very nifty, there is a case you put your iPhone in and the screw the lens you want to use onto the case. With 3 small lenses and a smartphone, you never need to travel with a camera again. Each lens and the case come in a very nice pouches.

Tim and his team sped this out the door in 3-hours of my ordering it. And yet it was waaayyyy before they were supposed to ship it.THAT'S awesome.Being stationed over here--away from home...California--in Asia I don't get the chance to catch products like Phocus. And I really, really needed this. I'm getting ready to use this for video blogging with my iPhone and the other teleprompter product I bought has attachments for SLR lenses. Now, with Phocus, I'm off to the races. I'll just plunk the lens adapters on and away to shoot.This is cool.Now, let me go un-box it and write another review later.This review was about the service, which ROCKS!
