19" Oval Copper Bath Sink with BARB WIRE Design Daisy Drain

Bought two of these sinks and they are V-nice - exactly what I ordered. My install is a remodel, so the vanities already have sinks cut (way too large). My solution is to remove old tile and backer board and install new backer board and recut a new hole in the new board. A provided templet for sink size would be very useful. As opposed to the method I'm forced to use which is trace old hole on new board - place new sink in traced hole and trace a second time around the copper bowl, then measure in (5/8 inch if anyone is interested) so that I have a lip for the sink to sit on. My concern now is how are plastic drain pipes supposed to secure the sink from skittering around on the tile? I think I will use 1/2 inch round backer rod under the sink lip and secure with clear plumbers silicone to the sink and the tile. I like the sinks and appreciate the "handmade" look - however, in the end, it always comes down to installation, and 3 or 4 sink clip attachment points on the under side of the sink and a size templet would make it much easier. Designers/engineers should always be required to install anything they design before it goes out the door. Unless its designed by A.I. Then someone with hands/tools has to workaround. 11/15/21 UPDATE: I ordered a 3rd sink W/the same daisy drain (non-closable - head pattern looks like a daisy flower) for my guest bath after my decent experience installing the two in the master bath. Someone may have read a review - I was able to order the sink & drain as a unit (unlike previously) that's the first improvement. Secondarily, they have included installation & care of sink instructions. I am happy Additionally the first two have been in use for several months, no issues at all - still look rustic & ranchy. Peace. 9-24 Update, okay, found an issue, toothpaste seems to linger in the embossed bowl pattern (barbed wire) wipes with a sponge but if you're OCD about such things get the ones W/out the barbed wire.

These sinks are even more attractive than the photo. I ordered them for a guest bath with a western theme and paired with barbed wire mirrors available on Amazon, they make the perfect statement.
