HI-TECMen's Raven Mid Wp Walking Shoe

I spent a long time searching for inexpensive vegan-friendly walking boots, and settled on these Hi-Tec boots. They're only for occasional use rather than very heavy use, so I didn't want to spend a fortune. I've used them for country walks in muddy conditions and for cycling 6 miles to work in the rain, and they've been completely waterproof. Although they feel very light, they're really comfortable - even to wear all day at work. I bought size 10 as that's my usual shoe size, and they're just right. The lace eyelets and hooks are very solid. Not really got anything negative to say about them at all! Very happy with them so far.

This is the second pair of these boots I have purchased. The first pair are at least six years old and apart from scuffing round the toes are still perfectly wearable. Good ankle support and good grip on the soles.

The top lace loop fell off on day 1 of wearing them.Look good and we’re comfy.

Feels nice and comfortable, hopefully they'll be good on a hike as have had other from same makers and lasted a long time and had no problems at all.Update: so been wearing them these five days as wanted to break them and dam they comfy.happy so far. Will be tested on different terrain soon and will update then too.

I've bought Hi-Tec brand many times, usually find them comfortable, reasonably hard wearing & in my price bracket.These boots tick those boxes - though I can't comment on how hard wearing as still pretty new !Like the style, feel slightly tight now, but HT usually stretch a bit & bed in nicely.

These boots are really comfortable. I wear them all day for work and they have been great. So far no rips, tears or any other problems.The uppers need wiping over now and then. Could probably do with a waterproof spray on them.Will probably buy another pair

Comfortable. Seem fairly rugged. Feet soaked walking on wet grass, so in no way waterproof.

Very light and comfortable. They appear waterproof, I suggest applying a spray though to be on the safe side.

So the boots took 3 plus weeks to arrive just to fine out they are too small. No problem so I returned them but I email Amazon but no reply to see after 2 week where is my refund. So sad no one can't even let you where my refund is.

Die Passform der Schuhe ist sehr gut. Ich habe mir wie bei allen anderen Schuhen auch hier die Größe 45 bestellt und es passt perfekt. Der Tragekomfort ist auch nach längeren Wanderungen immernoch gegeben und selbst beim langen Spaziergang durch den Schnee bleiben die Füße warm und trocken.Kann ich nur empfehlen

Die Schuhe passten sofort, liefen sich gut ohne Probleme. Die Schuhe sind nicht besonders atmungsaktiv, dafür recht wasserdicht.Nach einer Woche fiel mir jedoch auf, dass bei nassem Wetter der linke Schuh bei jedem Schritt furchtbar anfängt zu quietschen. Zunächst dachte ich, die Sohle wäre gebrochen, da es auf jedem Untergrund, auch bei trockenem Wetter, quietschte. Nach Kontaktaufnahme zum Kundendienst wurde mir ein Label übersandt und die Schuhe wären zur Überprüfung wieder zum Hersteller zurück gegangen. Nachdem ich die Schuhe jedoch wieder zwei Tage komplett trocknen ließ, quietschte der Schuh nicht mehr. Also wird er sich irgendwo mit Wasser voll saugen und dann anfangen zu quietschen. Bei kurzen Regengüssen ist das kein Problem, lediglich wenn es mal wieder über Tage nass bleibt. Da ich die Schuhe nun abends an die Heizung Stelle und immer komplett trockne, funktionieren sie so für mich.Für den Preis sind sie in Ordnung, man darf für einen 70 Euro Einsatzschuh keine Wunder erwarten.
