I used this with a Spectre intake on my 85 4runner rock crawler for an especially muddy trip. Keeps splashes and rain out, and the coating seems to hold up. I would still probably cover the intake if I was going to park it in the rain over night

Dont expect it to protect from heavy rain or flooding. But besides that, does its job well

GOT THIS TO PREVENT HYDRO LOCK ON MY 2013 WRX BUT AFTER 6 MONTHS I DON'T THINK IT WORKS AT ALL ANYMORE. WHEN I GOT IT WATER WOULD ROLL OFF THE SURFACE NO ISSUES, NOW WHEN I CLEAN IT WATER JUST PASSES THROUGH IT. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT THIS POINT.

it works well to keep dirt off the intake filter......measure your size first! mine was too small because i didnt measure, but i made a small incision and it works :)
