I'm really impressed with this jacket, got the camo one for my 7 year old and is really nice quality! Not too thin or too thick! I read somewhere it folds into a pocket which I haven't bothered trying as it rolls up nice and small anyway. The hood is a little on the small side at the front, then again my lad has a large head so that may explain it, would of been good if it was designed with a little peak at the front, but doesn't really bother my son!Would recommend this to my friends!

Although this mac is supposed to be able to pack into one of its own pockets it is almost impossible to do so. It took me a long time to force it in and even then it was a bulky unmanageable package (rather than the neat pack we are used to from another type of packable mac). It was then a huge struggle and took a long time to unpack again. There is no chance my son would be able to pack or unpack this jacket on his own.Having said that the jacket is really nice, strong fabric and looks good.

It seems okay on first inspection, comes up quite large, although if putting it over other clothes this should be okay. Reason 3 star and not 4, is down to the way it packs away. The pocket you have to turn inside out to fit it in is absolutely tiny! So it took me a good 10mins of pushing and squeezing to get it in. An extra couple if centimetres would have been great as I was worried to put too much force on it incase I tore it!

I purchased the age 13-14 for my nearly 12 yearold as hes quite big build and it is a really good fit. I wouldn't call it lightweight made of thick waterproof material so really kept him dry in heavy downpour. It doesn't come with a pouch to pack it into but easily rolls up into the hood so easy to carry round. really pleased with purchase.

Poor quality even if you receive one without sewing faults. One of two I ordered for my daughters came with a pocket not sewn properly such that things fall straight through the bottom. Poor hood design which only covers the back half of the head - why bother putting a useless hood on at all? Cheap and nasty and I would not recommend.

My son is pleased with the jacket colour and fit. We did choose this one as it is called a pack away and wanted to keep it in his school bag. It doesn’t come with a packable pouch and there are no instructions as to how it could pack into itself. Otherwise it seems fine. The delivery was very quick and my son didn’t want to return it as he really likes it. We are happy with the product but it isn’t what we though we had ordered.

Bought fir my 10yr old son. Fits nicely and the materials seem to be of good quality. My son has run and been in the woods in this coat and it's taken everything he's thrown at it so far. The fit is good and the zip seems to be robust. I'm pleased with it and it seems to be a hit with my son too. Overall... Recommended.

Comfortable, light and kept my son cool. Hes a tall 8 year old so we got 9/10 and it fit well. Not sure we'll ever be able to fold it into the pocket like it said. Tested in the rain and it kept him dry.
