These UV Sanitizers operate as advertised: 15 min, 30 min, or 60 min. The purplish lights are not that bright and they don't get that warm, but I've been careful not to look at them for more than a fraction of a second as UVC is supposed to damage the eyes. They say that these bulbs also give off ozone. I put the lights inside of shoes inside of a shoebox -- thinking that this will help to concentrate the ozone and enhance the ability to kill pathogens. I don't know if they work to kill the pathogens that cause toenail fungus or athlete's foot. I am trying to get rid of my toenail fungus -- but this takes time. I'm treating my shoes as an added measure to make sure I don't reinfect myself.

I wasn't immediately convinced it did anything until i noticed the shoes smelling. It heats them up enough to deodorize and kill the germs. I am selling used shoes and really love the ease of this product.

I bought this product to deodorize several pairs of sandals. I have used these UV lights on them for several hours (multiple times for each pair of sandals) as well as having scrubbed the insoles with a special soap and spraying them with a shoe deodorizing spray and repeated the UV treatment. The sandals still smell bad. Maybe more powerful (and expensive) UV lights would work, but these don't.

My work boots definitely feel cleaner inside. It does not dry them at all. But I didn't buy them for that. It works as advertised

Amazingly, this device deodorized stinky shoes after only one use. Podiatrist recommended ultra violet light for treating shoes because of foot fungus. I’m amazed at the effectiveness. I will buy more.

A separate light with long connectors each shoe makes it easy to use in boots and sandals. It was advertised as a dryer but then insert states specifically not a shoe dryer. These lights do get warm and my damp shoes easily dried. Honestly don’t know if bacteria is actually being killed but the UV lights are intense. I’m pretty happy except reading the on off gadget is difficult and I can’t seem to figure the extended timing but it’s easy to just repeat.

Mine quit working after one day. I Am returning it and going with a different brand

This appears to do the job, but is better for keeping new shoes good rather than recovering bad shoes!The controller is easy to use and allows you to select 15 or 30 mins of use which auto shuts off after the time.There is a strong scent of ozone when in use, as described in the description, but this is part of the sanitisation process.I can't say it's the best thing ever, but it's a help!

I was really sceptical about this product but it really works. Save yourself money on buying spray shoe deodorisers and get one of this. I was surprised. I couldn't remove bad smell from my work safety shoes (by washing them and using deodorisers) and this make them like brand new.

It is the wavelength that I need for my experiment. It is stable and performs well.

Works great, kept getting reinfected from shoes after using lamisil once (which worked great as aspot treatment). Treated all my shoes with this light, no more reinfection. Does what it was made to do and does it well. Used the 30min setting.Initially I was skeptical but was impressed it can treat such a persistent bug that I used it on the family’s shoes (smelly teenager shoes too!). Flip flops (sandwich the bulb between 2 pairs of them at a time and put it in a black cloth bag).Only suggestion would be a safety feature so it doesn’t turn on unless in shoes but at this price can’t really complain, just follow the instructions and be sensible unless you are a fly. Well packaged, quality is good, instructions in clear format.
