The box provided is about $29.00 and is a strange product to combine with these pastels. I didn't like itS guy u plug because the sennelier pastels don't fit in the drawers if you use either the foam protector that comes with the drawers, or the foam that comes with the pastels. The pastels don't fit even alone, without foam either, if they are the half sticks that are a little bigger than usual like many of them are. There is a better drawer product for these pastels, the 2 drawer Easel top box also from US Art Supply for $39.00 (today's price) that works with the foam provided with the box, and it also works (with a little squeezing,) also with the foam from the pastels for better control of the pastels. I do love these rich colors packed pastels.

No complaints on the pastel storage box. Previous reviews were very helpful in deciding. yes, there is an odor.I let it air out for a day and I don't notice it anymore. That's why I gave it a 4 star.
