I want to connect this to my sony tv. will i need to use a separate remote ?

However, if you connect it to your Sony TV via HDMI ARC, you will be able to control it using the TV's remote control when Bravia Sync is enabled. The subwoofer seems to have little sound ! Anyone else found the same ?

I found it loud enough for my wife and myself. It does of course depend on the quality of the TV transmission. Some music have poor quality reproduction and therefore basic sound is lacking. The overall sound volume is very good from Sony at this price level. Make sure all connections are Ok. Make sure the sw button is on max of course .

I am thinking of buying this for my daughter. she has a lg 4k tv will this work?

It should do if your tv has the right connection. Check the TV manual for the TV outputs to see if it works

Since installing the soundbar, it seems to automatically power on the TV when left turned off. Is there a way to fix this?
