Great case for Panasonic Lumix
I took my husband's camera on a trip to Ireland and wanted it to be protected. It is a Panasonic Lumix 20-1200. I don't know anything about cameras, but it fit in this case, and the case fit well in a Travelon Cross Body Bucket Bag (here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GGCRWKZ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1). The camera case had enough room for battery charger, extra memory card and lens cloth. The Travelon had enough room for the camera case, passport, credit cards, cash and a water bottle.

Grand Canyon May 2019 - Works great for backpacking.
I shoot time lapses. May 2019, I used the Cubeze 39 for 16 days while at the Grand Canyon. It works great for any situation. The weather on the North & South rims: 25-50 degrees with snow, rain and sleet (or all 3 at once) every 3-5 hours with only 2 clear nights & 2 semi clear days & many days with 30-50mph winds. The Cubeze 39 fit into my camping backpack for 2 overnight trips and a 4 day Rim2Rim crossing (North Kaibab to Bright Angel trails). The Cubeze did well in the harsh weather, shrugging off the elements, but I kept it mostly inside my backpack and only pulled the Cubeze out to set up & tear down my gear. The Cubeze 39 made for a convenient work area while still inside my backpack or on the wet ground. It is very light weight & could have easily blow away in high winds so I always kept an extra lens in it or put a rock on it to add some weight. Once finished setting up my gear, I always returned the Cubeze into my backpack to help keep the Cubeze dry and clean. The moisture on this trip was very high because the conditions never got warm & sunny enough to dry anything out. However, once in my van with the heater on, any moisture build up with the Cubeze was gone within a 5-15 minutes. The Cubeze 39 is weather resistant for about 30-60 minutes in light rain/snow but NOT weather proof. I kept a recycled mineral/crystal/carbon moisture control bag inside the Cubeze 39 for the entire trip just as an excess moisture preventative. While on the 2 overnight camping trips and the 4 day Rim2Rim crossing of the Grand Canyon, the Cubeze 39 held a Sony A6300 with Metabones adaptor, Canon 24mm f1.4 & 24-105mm f4.0 lenses, 6 batteries, Syrp Genie Mini, lens cloth & sensor cleaners.2 things I do not like:1) I do not like the string to close. It is wayyyyy too long and easily gets hung up on everything. I replaced the original string with my own designed bungee string & fastener that is much smaller and tucks inside the case. No more hang ups or too much string flying around in high winds.2) I would prefer 2 pull tabs so you can easily grab the Cubeze. The design now, if you pull on the string...it's too long &/or sometimes opens the top. Stuffed into a tight backpack, it's a mess and a PIA to pull the Cubeze 39 out. Two short 1x1.5 inch nylon pull tabs sewn into the sides would be cool.

Easy on your wallet, Easy to use, Easy on your mind.
I absolutely love this bag!I bought it to hold my DSLR and an extra lens in my messenger bag while on a 10-day trip to Germany. I had originally bought a brand new, $120, dedicated camera backpack for the trip, but after a few months of using it, I realized (like most dedicated camera backpacks and bags) it was too bulky and too heavy. When I came across the ApeCase for $12, I figured that it was worth a shot. I'm happy to say that it worked absolutely perfectly. The case is made with a hefty ripstop nylon with the ApeCase logo imprinted in it. While it is about 10.5 inches tall, only the bottom 6 inches are padded. The rest allows the bag to close via drawstring. (photos 1 & 6)The drawstrings allow it to close securely and tightly. This was a huge help to me in the airports when going through security. They asked me to put all electronics together in a separate bin, so I put my charging cords, headphones, and adapter in with my camera, closed the top, pulled it out of my bag and put it in the bin. When done, I was able to simply slide it back into my bag within seconds.I really like that if you do not want to mess with the drawstring top, it pulls down around the rest of the bag on the outside to leave an open top. This would be great for someone who just needs a place to put their camera between shots, or to switch cameras. I used this feature whenever I would change lenses. The case is supplied with two adjustable padded dividers. The case has two Velcro strips along the inside, which allows the dividers to be placed wherever you need them. (photo 4)The only CON I have with the bag (so far) is that it does not come in a color other than construction yellow. I feel that since this is a case for expensive cameras and the like, it should be in a color that does NOT attract attention. It does make it easy to find small pieces in dim light though.Overall, I would certainly give this ApeCase a 9/10.Photo 5 shows my case with a Nikon D3300 with strap and 18-55mm lens attached, a 55-200mm lens, and a Rugged memory card case.Photo 6 shows the closed full case. All measurements in the photos are in inches. I am not an employee, nor was I compensated by ApeCase in anyway for this review.

Perfect fit for Lowepro Passport.
If, like me, you were disappointed in the insert provided with the Lowepro Passport sling bag, the Cubeze 41 is a perfect drop-in replacement: the two inserts together fit well with the gusset expanded, and the larger one fits alone with the gusset zipped up. Lowepro should really provide this as standard!
