26 Inch Sliding Rail Kit for Most Rackmount Chassis
A**R
Awkward to install and use
I ordered 2 of these kits, and I'm not very impressed.Do they work? Yes. Do they work well? Not really. The rails came covered in grease, which in turn, covers your hands with grease. You have to screw the rail ends into the rack first, then awkwardly align the outer rails with the rail ends. That's a 2 person job that didn't really need to be one. And then, you have to slide the server, with inner rails attached, to the outer rails in the rack.... But then you discover there's not really a good way to adjust the rails such that the server slides in and is flush with the front of the rack. If you want to adjust that, you have to take the server back out.My rails didn't slide very smoothly, either. But, it seems like there aren't any other options for the machines these rails are designed for, so you're stuck either using these, or universal rails that don't allow you to slide the server out for servicing.

I suppose this is better than a set of universal rails, but not by much.
The media could not be loaded. The M4 screws provided with this product are too long. Not only do they block the motion of the outer sliding rail (see video), they also prevent the separate inner rail from being able to fully retract. If you must get this product, be prepared to find some shorter screws. The screws in the box were 9.6mm in length; I bought some 6mm screws and everything works well now.
