These pickleball paddles are perfect for a starter or even for an intermediate player. They are light, have a great shape, a pretty nice grip, and a solid edge banding. The face is "springy" (compared to wooden paddles) and allows you to deliver a crisp shot as well as putting some spin on the ball. The case is great, fits both paddles and also has room for the balls. I would love to buy just another case like this for our other paddles. For the price, these paddles with the case and balls are a great deal. Wish we would have found them sooner. Also -- the supplier filled our order very quickly, with the package arriving 2 days sooner than originally estimated. We would definitely go back to them for something like this again.

This was the first paddle set we purchased when starting to play pickleball. The paddles were way better than the wooden set we were loaned at the court the first time we ever played. As we evolved into better players and tried out other paddles, I have to say these paddles were great beginner paddles. They have good power, a decent pop and compete with more expensive beginner paddles. You definitely get your money's worth from the set especially when 50% off as it is often.

I am new at the game of pickle ball. I was waiting to play a few games before writing my review. I am so glad that I bought these paddles. They have a beautiful design, came with a bag and 4 balls. I couldn’t ask for more. The paddles have a wide sweet spot which means that you don’t have to hit the ball always on the same spot to get a good hit. They are light and the handle is very comfortable. I am able to execute shots with ease. These paddles are a good starting set. I have used more expensive paddles from my friends and I haven’t been able to determine the difference. Now remember that I am new at pickle ball but i am not new to paddle and racquet sports so I have a little knowledge about good paddles and bad ones. They are great for the money.

The set is exactly what we wanted, durable and easy to use.

We started playing pickle ball about 4 months ago and it is great fun. When we just started we were using wooden paddles that were available at the front desk at the YMCA. We noticed that just about all the other players had purchased their own paddles. One day we tried a friend's paddle and the difference was surprising. The better paddle was much lighter than wood and much easier to use. We got the exact same ones. Very happy with the purchase. Have recommended it to friends.

Pickle ball racquets are one of those products you feel overwhelmed searching for. ‘Is that too cheap, why is that so expensive, when did carbon fiber enter the conversation?!’ But the price you get for these and how sturdy they are after multiple rounds is quite impressive. And this coming from a guy that happens to throw his racquet out of frustration more often then he should… fine product!

I lost my extra paddle and wanted to get a replacement just so I always have that extra one. I came across these two XS paddles with good reviews. At first, I was very hesitant at getting these (two) less expensive paddles which was about the cost of what I paid for one 5 years ago. But since it was just to have EXTRA paddles, I ordered them anyway. I have been playing with them for 2 weeks now. These paddles so far feel every bit as good as my more expensive one. They are light in weight. The grip is firm. When the ball makes contact with it, the hit is strong and easy to control (provided I am doing my part). The size and shape are comparable to the one I have been playing with for 5 years (and still love). I will be giving one of the paddles to my daughter who is just starting to play pickleball. I am an intermediate player and recommend this paddle to all levels. I bought the blue and red as a set that also came with indoor balls and a bag. I have also seen the paddles sold separately if you only want to purchase one.

As a new person to this sports, it is difficult to say if this paddle is for beginners or if it is for more advanced players. However, learning to play with a Head Radical, I feel that the paddle is equivalent in most ways. Only difference that I feel is worth nothing is that the sound of the ball coming off of the surface of the paddle seems more muted on the XSPAK vs a very hard tick sound from the Head Radical. I do not feel I loose any depth in my service game with the XSPAK even though it sounds muted on impact. Overall, I feel like I have good control over the ball during rally points, volleys and my third shot drop seems to land where I need it to land.My purchase included two paddle, four balls and a carry case. I could have bought one paddle for the same price but since I was just starting out, I thought I would have two paddles so I could have another friend hit with me if he does not own a paddle.Overall, I am very pleased with my purchase and the quality of each paddle. I would certainly recommend this to anyone starting out or even someone looking to change out their paddle.

This is good value. The bats play well. It's ideal set for new to intermediate players.

I thought the rackets and bag were not bad at first but after some use the edge is coming off one racket. It would have also been nice to get a mix of indoor and outdoor balls instead of the 4 indoor balls provided.

Having just started playing I wanted a good all-round paddle & ball kit. This paddle is most satisfactory.
